I can relate to this whole heartedly. I am a mum to a 2 year old and 4 year old daughters. They copy everything I do. Down to hair, dress, mannerisms, speech.
A small victory for me was that I used to wear make up everyday. Even if I wasn't going anywhere. Just staying in the house I would put a full face of makeup on. My eldest daughter has recently started wanting to wear make up "like mummy". I told her you don't need make up, your beautiful without any. She replied, your beautiful too mummy but you wear make up every day!
This really made me think about what I do impacts on my girls. I realised that in a way me wearing makeup everyday was portraying to my daughters I needed makeup to feel pretty.
I now only wear make up if I am going out in the evening. I did find it really hard as some people who have known me for a long time have only ever seen me with make up on.
I must admit I still look in the mirror and think, wow! I look tired, pale, dry skin etc etc but resist the urge to cover it all up for my girls.
Hope I didn't go too much off subject there!
We do need to find the inner beauty in all of us. It is there!

I was a radiographer but gave up work last year to be a stay at home mum to my two girls aged 4 & 2 (currently)
It was a hard decision both financially and personally as I had worked hard to get to where I was.
I love staying at home now and would not change it for the world. Xx

I'm sure Avon do something very similar. I have a green and a black one. They are twist up eyeliners. They are very smooth and soft to apply. Not at all like a pencil. May be worth a browse? I'll have a look to see if I can find a link. Xx Post Merge: February 03, 2013, 06:28:03 AMhttp://avonshop.co.uk/product/make-up/eyes/eyeliner/avon-glimmersticks-eye-liner.htmlThese are what I have.
