I might give up some of my adult collection to get back some of my childhood ponies (fortunately I still have all of my childhood ponies, so this is just a theoretical discussion ). But I wouldn't give up all my adult collection ponies to get back a few childhood ponies. Most of my adult collection I've had for 10-14 years, and I'm pretty sentimental about a lot of those ponies too.

As for picking between the two collections, it's really hard to say. I don't think I could give up my childhood ponies - but I have about 5 times as many ponies I've collected as an adult, and I'm really attached to most of them too. I can't imagine giving any of my ponies away!

I have her! I think she's a beautiful pony.

My daughter is turning 5 in a couple of weeks, and one of the things she has on her birthday list is a Sunny Daze (because that is one of the few G3 ponies she doesn't have). I would like one in nice condition, that would be suitable as a present, but I don't care which version.

Hello, everyone! I guess I need to post here now that I've registered. I run the website greatponies.com and have been involved in the pony community since 1999 - though in the last few years since my first daughter was born, I haven't been particularly active, either on forums or in collecting. However, I do still buy ponies now and then, and I poke around on the collector's forums. I'm happy to have made it over to the new verison of the Arena!
