Perhaps you could clean with cold water and soap and then wrap each curl around a straw in the direction of the curl and then slide the straw out. Ive noticed wrapping the curl around a stick or a straw will let it retain its shape better (compared to say, twisting it). I usually brush the curl out before wrapping it but you may not want to do this with PG, but it has worked well on many factory curled ponies for me, and usually helps restore some of the factory curl too. Good luck!

I brush them, tie ribbons in their hair, make them accessories and cute displays! I love styling their hair too, braiding it, curling it, putting barrettes in it.... I gave Merry Treats a nice boil perm today <3 visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Oh my gosh, how I wish she was a real pony to buy so I could own her! I'm so inspired to make a custom now. Great job!
What paint did you use for the symbol? Is it just acrylic?
Yeah, it's just acrylic I believe I used Martha Stewart's satin (?) acrylics for her.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments! I'm so happy everyone likes her! Ahhh! She’s so beautiful! If I ever get into customizing, I hope to one day make a pony like this. For some reason, rainbow wishes kinda reminds me of fairy kei fashion from japan.
I think a lot of my aesthetic is inspired by japanese fashion, so I'd definitely say fairy kei is part of her inspiration! She is gorgeous!!! That's your first custom?? Please DO make more, she looks as if you have been doing this for ages. How incredibly pretty she is! I absolutely adore the idea with the white at the hooves, and the symbol looks flawless. Her hair is amazing! That is one pretty custom, I am in love! ...and are these eyes sparkling??
Thank you so much! She has glitter eyeshadow actually! I'm thinking of making an accompanying pony for her... maybe a pink one?

In case you need colors from dollyhair (but not a whole hank) when being in the US, you might think about their half hank option. That way you can play with more colors for the same amount of money.
Had no idea they offer a half hank, I probably missed that option when I was looking at the site! The hair has arrived from retrodolls uk incredibly fast, the colors are absolutely spot on! Really excited to rehair her visitors can't see pics , please register or login
