Cucumber Quest! It's a fantasy/RPG-ish comic about bunny kids having an adventure. (It's also on hiatus til May since the last chapter finished up, so it's an excellent time to pick it up!)

Mine's 06577-33669-23499-42971! I don't have anything special skill-wise (still working on getting everyone promoted), but I've got Rubies, Lapis, Cabbage, and Rice.

Just picked up the demo for Bravely Second. If the demo's anything to go by, the game's going to have glorious music just like Bravely Default.
It's actually a different composer! I like what I've heard of their work, so it's good to hear the demo's music's nice - I haven't gotten a chance to touch it yet.

I finished Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright a few days ago, and bought Revelation today. It's fun enough as a strategy game, but it feels like they overcorrected for Awakening's sometimes one-note personalities and just made everyone kind of bland and inconsistent. (A character incredibly suspicious of me in one route showed up out of nowhere to defend me in another, with no apparent behind-the-scenes reasoning...?)

As someone who's trying to pick up French, I have been keeping up with the French dub (with English subtitles of course). I am really enjoying it so far!

Really hoping we get a flashback episode about how Marinette and Adrien met their kwamis.

I've heard a rumor that the last two episodes of season 1 will be related to their origin! IIRC it came from someone who'd done work on the show, so at least somewhat credible.

I've seen a little bit of all the first three releases by now! The first airing was Korean, which was neat. :) I might have to pick up that Ladybug & Chat two-pack when it comes out (especially since it looked like there'd be Tikki and Plagg figures to go with...)

It only took two months after I got my Wii U for me to give in... :yikes: I ordered the Inkling Girl, Reese, and Palutena the other day! (I want the Inkling's unlocks and wanted Palutena to have an AI buddy to train into a horrifying beast; Reese was $7 and I love her)

I wish I'd picked up Kirby when he wasn't $20+, though. :(

It's been doing that for the last week or two for me too. :( There's a ton of comments on it in the Chrome store, so they must have messed something up.

I just swapped over to Linkclump - it doesn't work exactly the way I want, but it's good enough until/if they fix it.

I'm in the middle of a bajillion games, as usual, but I started the Tales of Symphonia remake yesterday. I haven't played it yet and it's been sitting on my to-play stack for ages! I was getting a little bored of Fallout 4 (finally), too. :)
I just started the GC version last week! A friend of mine got the remaster last year, so she lent me her old copy. :lovey:

I finished writing up my Undertale liveblog
The true ending actually has the answers to a bunch of your questions at the end! I'd definitely recommend it, if you're interested enough to find out.

Spoiler
A couple that aren't: the "shapeshifting" line is referring to Mettaton! He tells you in the fight that he's the one who hired mercenaries to defeat you, and the EX fight is the "public debut" of his new body. The rooms under renovation in Home/New Home mirror each other; the room that was Asgore's is closed off in Home, and the one that was Toriel's is closed off in New Home. The mushrooms, so far as we know, don't do anything outside of the room where they light up the path.

I like Kirby and Villager a lot! I keep meaning to get better with Ganondorf and maybe Olimar, though.

The Dollhouse / Re: How do you feel about re-casts? (BJD)
« on: January 02, 2016, 05:31:13 PM »
oh, that sounds great! thank you for your reply! :) I don't really know much about how much do recasts go for, and how their price compares to either their originals or to other originals of the same size, so if there are original dollies out there you can get for or close to the price of a recast that is similar-sized, than my question is no longer valid :) I was assuming that recasts are way cheaper, so this option didn't even come to mind.

IIRC while recasts are cheaper than the dolls they're ripping off, they're not the cheapest dolls available - looking at almost-definitely-not-legit sites, recast Minifees are $120-140. Resinsoul's MSDs (same size as a minifee) are $126-$150, and I know they're not the only lower-cost BJD company. Of course they're not the same doll, but both are classified as "slim MSD," so they should fit similar clothes, I think?

Those are (L->R) Dewdrop Dazzle, Blossomforth, and Snowcatcher!

Prices from a few months ago (so might have fluctuated since): Dewdrop Dazzle $10, Blossomforth $25, Snowcatcher $15. I'm not sure if having their accessories/etc dramatically affects the price.

I have a big pile of the old Limited Too/Claire's plush somewhere! (Plus, I think, some of the TCG? A bunch of little misc stuff.) I should clean them up and see if anyone's interested, since there are only a few I'd want to keep...

I got a Wii U! :frolic: And a new mattress (mine was 20 years old and had three holes in it by the time we finally hauled it out of here), plus a few small things (couple books, some cheap PS2/DS games from Square Enix's sale, a very cute pen and notebook set, makeup brushes).

I picked up Wind Waker HD to go along with my new Wii U, so I've been switching off between that, Smash, and Splatoon! :lovey: Half my enjoyment of action-y games like WW is how ridiculous my panic reactions are when things come after me.

FWIW, the HD collection also has a redub - you can choose between the two for SH2, but 3's only got the new version. (They're kind of weird, IMO - a lot of very recognizable voices. Troy Baker as James Sunderland is an incredibly weird choice.) I have seen a lot of talk about the HD release basically being one big mess, though - less fog but no attempts to clean up what's now visible and worse-looking, bugs, freezes, etc. The company that handled it didn't have much of any experience with this kind of thing.

Maybe try ebay, if Amazon's prices are weird? I've had some decent luck with PS1/2 games there.
