I was most excited with the G3 line when, it was first released! I remember going to toysrus and seeing the double packs, Kimono, Autumn sky, sparkle works, ect. (so many new ponies!!) I was so excited to see mlp back on the shelves! I don't recall how I found out they were being released, but I do remember going specifically to the store to get these new ponies. I was also very excited when they came out with Pegasus ponies!!

Genius! Did you have to do any modifications to get Rarity's head to stay on Catrine's body? (Drilling, etc?)
Nope! The only thing you have to do, (unfortunately) is remove the plastic bit that allows for the MH dolls head to pivot (that means no putting your MH dolls head back on without the assistance of super glue). Then all you have to do is pop your EQ Girl's head onto the body! The hole is a little smaller than the neck of the MH body, so you'll need a little bit of elbow grease (although not much at all) to get it on. But I've noticed that if you take the head on and off multiple times ( causing the doll's neck hole to stretch), that if you want to put her head back on her original body, it will wobble.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Our Pomeranian mix(of 16 years) passed away a little less than a month ago, so I understand your feelings of sadness. Eh ... I like them, but I was really hoping that they wouldn't have "pony ears" but maybe like a head band accessory like how they have them in the movie. I too, am sadden that these dolls are not ball jointed. That being said, I think its really cute to have their cutie marks on their cheeks! (but would have also liked it if they were printed on their clothes) Their hair looks really nice, and I like their accessories! I'll pick up at least one of them, I'm excited for the movie, since it looks like a unique story line, so I eager to see some merchandise to go with it!

I agree, this is a tough call! They may have indeed been given to a former employee, but I am curious as to why some of those are bagged when they are regular ponies! Take for example the Sparkle pony that is listed, Skyrocket. Skyrocket was a mail order for two years, but then in the second year was made available for purchase at the store. The difference between the mail order and the in store, is that the mail order would have a little symbol under their eye, which I didn't see in the one being placed up in the auction (although in one of the pictures it a little hard to tell because part of the lettering of the bag covers it up). I could understand the mail order being bagged, but not a regular pony that was sold in stores. I don't know much about how things were given out to employees, but I think its kinda weird that they would bag a regular pony. Maybe I'm not making much sense  But I wouldn't go for them because they may have belonged to former employees because there is no proof (especially if you decided to sell it down the line with this in mind). They are pretty nice looking, and would only bid based on those values!!

I'm not a big fan of the donkey pose, but I think she is a beautiful pony! Here's my lovely Piccolo Her name always makes me laugh a little, because I'm a huge fan of Dragonball, and one of the characters name is piccolo (who happens to be a green monster/alien)!! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I'm pretty sure that the Luna is from the 2011 Canterlot Castle that was released at Target along with Pinkie pie and a whole bunch of accessories. Luna is a Shine Bright pony! (you can check out the set over in the Out Now and Coming soon Thread under accessory packs: http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,296088.0.html) And the Rarity I believe is from the Rarity's Carousel Boutique which also came out in 2011. Both Beautiful ponies, but old releases!

I have a hand full that I keep out on a mini shelf that I have in my room (the max I can fit on it is like, 4) which I rotate out depending on who my favorite is at the moment. But the rest, they are all bagged and labeled and stored in rubbermaid bins, which I organize by generation. One day when I get a pony room, they will all be freed from their plastic prisions!!
