Hi all!! I'm in search of the pony that came with this outfit! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMy friend was gifted this pony by a someone, but it got lost in the mail before she could actually get her hands on it... So I have no further details! I've tried searching around on little wiki and mlpmerch and haven't found anything. Does anyone know what the name of this set is? Or the name of the pony? I'd really like to find one to give her

When I first started customizing about 10 years or so ago I posted a WIP of something and someone sent me a private message scolding me for baiting that pony since she wasn't common.
Oh gosh 😭 the way my heart would have DROPPED if I got that message...! That would make me start triple checking the rarity of ponies as well!! Ultimately though the pony is yours and it's your decision what to do with it. 
Yeah this is a nice sentiment, I definitely try to think this way when it comes to my most favorite ponies that I don't plan on trading or selling away! Thanks for your response

Ah thanks for the input, it makes me feel better! All the bait ponies Ive bought are pretty thoroughly stained with sharpies, cutie mark-less and tail-less, so I think they're more than qualified... I guess I've just got to get brave! For the record, I wouldn't bait a HTF or rare pony. That includes G3. I will do restores though.
LOL, thankfully I don't own any HTF ponies to accidentally bait-- but every time I take a pony apart I think, "well now she's one pony closer to being HTF!!!" It's a shame there can't be infinite pony bases in the world... (I suppose that would be a perfect transition into an ad for HQG1C- it's a shame they can't be infinitely in stock!)

Sometimes, even if it's a very common pony and she's in bad shape, I feel a little bad taking her apart to customize.... Does anyone else feel this way? I can't shake the feeling that I'm "ruining" a collectors item with my silly art.
I'd love to work with HQG1C but they're (understandably!) More expensive to get my hands on, and I haven't been able to find many unhaired options for sale within the US at the moment!
Is this silly, or do you guys agree? Do you have a certain criteria for what makes a pony "baity" enough to customize??

WOW she looks gorgeous!! I love the ratio of colors in her tail, the blue really adds such a gorgeous sparkly highlight. (I adore the metallic hairs from doll planet, they're so nice to work with!!)

I agree about the spa days!! That's why ponies in poor condition are honestly my favorite to get-- it makes them feel more special to me if I know that I got to take them in and clean them up!

Omg, I'm surprised to see that people aren't fans of Banana Surprise and the Sundae Best ponies- I adore them!!! They're the first set of ponies that I'm trying to collect all of (on that note- if anyone who hates the sundae best ponies happens to have some they're looking to get rid of... feel free to toss them my way LOL!)
I think Banana has AWESOME colors- although mines hair is much more teal than the green from this pic! And I had no idea they were scented! None of mine have smelled at all... hopefully I'll get to see one that still has its scent soon!

Is your pony a primary color... specifically in the primary set consisting of blue/red/yellow? (I didn't know there were multiple sets of primary colors until yesterday LOL!!)

They both turned out so awesome!! I really love Anauth's wings, they're so big and grand, and so detailed!!!! Sakura is gorg as well, I love her teeny little crown! So delicate!

I am currently loving G3 Periwinkle! I recently got one after wanting one for a long time.

I mean, she's gorgeous! And I love that they're making the villain ponies somewhat early on in the line, although now that I think about it, hasn't G5 been out for like a year or more now? So I guess they're kind of in line with the previous iteration where we got a Nightmare Moon toy a year or two in! Still, I'm excited for her - and she has these clear sparkly-glitter blue hooves that are just entrancing. I quite dislike her little sculpted braid over her ear, but I imagine that's kind of a necessary evil, along with the gallon of hair gel in her curls. I want to totally restyle her, but for now I'm just admiring her evil beauty!
oooh!!! that is a super cool pony! villain characters are ALWAYS good hehe. i havent been following g5 very closely but i love her design-- the teal and white hair with the magenta body is *mwah* !! I'm super excited to see how your restyle turns out if you do it!! and good luck on your custom, i know how that goes  sending you lots of inspiration through the net!! BIG AGREE. Anything above like... 75 degrees F is too hot for me, so I have BEEN ready for fall!!!  I don't think I've actually seen autumn skye before!! She's super cute- i love that shes grey rather than a more obvious brown/red/orange color scheme!! unique, but definitely still makes me think of Fall!
