Hey there guys!  Ive finally finished this Luna! she comes with 2 voiceboxes ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDuRBL1LiJA ) , incase its hard to hear, as its a bit blurry with cellphone camera recording, she says " Iam the princess of the night, thus it is my duty to come into your dreams.." and " HA-HA! The fun has been doubled!"she is made out of minky and faux fur fabric. she stands a whole 20 inches tall (50cm) and is very large and huggable! Eyes and wing pattern is made with machine embroidery using rayon threads and for her iris , metallic thread. Although I'm not a big AJ fan, I love this! I think that if they released AJ looking like this, she'd be a larger part of my collection

So i thought i had to give AJ some more love when it comes to plushies. I have only done one AJ before so it was about time ^^. I found a nice image of her Crystal pony look wich i took inspiration from, it can be seen here: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI relly liked her hairstyle there and i used it for her otherwise "non crystal-pony" look ^^, shes not meant to be "full" crystal pony, but I think the hairstyle suits her. The mane and tail is made in minky and those are actual braids. She stands about 15 inches tall and is made of minky fabric and machine embroidery eyes and cutiemarks. I never understood how ebroidered eyes are done....do you use a pattern and sew directly on the cut out pattern?
Theyre machine embroideried from a pattern file wich you transfer to an embroidery machine from the computer. Theyr embroideied straight onto the fabric, i usually cut the pieces after its finished to get the eye in the right place. i bought finished designs from person on etsy who sells alot of these files to plushie makers :-).

Thank you so much everyone! ^^ oh my word, Chicken is so cute!! The faux fur for her mane and tail is genius--looks so realistic. Was it hard to work with?
well, its a bit of a pain, as the fur gets onto everything while cutting and working with it  afterwards i always comb the hair well to guarantee theres no loose hair left from the cutting and sewing.

So after recieving my embroidery machine last week i decided i had to try it on a plush ;-) The result is this scootaloo! shes so darn cute in real it will be very hard parting with her! She is made with my most recent laying down pattern, and she measures 15 inches long, laying down ( 37cm), shes big and huggable! She is made in minky mango color. And she has faux fur for her mane and tail! Eyes are machine embroideried directly onto the fabric. made with highest quality Rayon embroidery thread ,and the purple iris is with metallic embroidery thread for extra lively effect. Hey everyone! Finally completed Dash, she is my first try at minky hair on a dash (rainbow color tails is a pain to sew!)  She has a voicebox in her front hoof and says " it needs to be about 20% cooler". I put up a video of her talking (need to turn up the sound in the video as i was recording with a bad cellphone. I have never heard a bad review for it, except in the very rare instances when someone has gotten a defective unit! All the other negative comments seem to be based on user error.
Cyanide - I'm glad you understood that! And your Rarity is beautiful, I love how you use fur for the hair!
I bet =) i see theres alot of tutorials online though on how to put the thread and stuff! Just ordered my very first embroidery machine now, so excited right now!

hai everyone So well, this rarity have been in the making for quite a while now. It is my first ever try on applique and embroidery without an embroidery machine =P, let me tell you its been a pain! For being my very first try on applique eyes and cutiemarks, i think she turned out fine. I cannot wait until i get my embroidery machine though! some details on whats been done: *Her cutiemarks are in minky fabric, on wich ive embroideried the finishing lines and details with a regular sewing machine using tight zig zag stitch. * Her eyes are a mix of embroidery, faux leather, applique and satin. For the white part of the eye i used satin wich is slightly shiny for a life like apperance , The iris is ironed onto the satin (the only part wich is ironed on). it soaks so well into this flat fabric you wont even notice that it is. The eye contour is embroideried all way around. Her eyeshadow is made from minky and then appliqued. The eyelashes are fake leather, stands out a bit at their tips and made to look life like. They're attatched with embroidery. *She comes With socks and a cute necklace with a glittery star attatched to it. This can be removed using velcro. The necklace can be used as a hair ribbon or put in her tail aswell. She stands 15.5 inches tall ( 38cm) and is made from minky fabric.
