You know I didn't even know they made any other ponies in the 'sitting' pose, foreign or otherwise, that's so neat! Her colors are gorgeous, and nice thing about the sitting ones you can't tell they're missing tails or if they're cut most of the time (I have one or two bubbles who are, heh) But that's wonderful, congratulations on finally having her! Oh and welcome back, as well! I happened to have returned recently myself!

oh and the suspense thing was clever too...I was actually excited to see who it could've possibly been!

So usually I don't take the time to post the occasional G1 find, not because I don't still occasionally find them...I'd just feel bad. But this particular find was so unlikely and unexpected and has NEVER happened to me...EVER, and will probably never happen again. Even at toy shows I never find MOC ponies, the only time I ever found any packaged ones was in the late 90's, and they were all boxed, with appropriate price tags attached (for the time, anyways)

On a whim I went to a local antique co-op, that really rarely ever has anything I really want, but it's just something to do. Usually there's only one person with toys, and she hasn't had much of anything lately either. But in a booth that has NEVER had toys in the 20 odd years I've gone to this place, there was Masquerade for $4 . Her cards a little warped (probably got wet at some point) but she's fine. I realize too she's the most common of the set (least I think she is) But I still really like her, and it was still cool to find something so random, MOC, that I've never found before at a price that would be reasonable for a loose one in played with condition.

I'll probably never have a find like this again so, figured I might as well share it!

I realize this is closed, but regardless had to compliment on the superb art, really lovely flowing style, all the pictures turned out wonderful.

they have their charm about them, I only have one...and only because it was mixed in with a lot of G1's, have no idea where I put it though. I always really liked the sparkle ones, and the shimmer n' shine ones. I remember always finding it odd when I saw them on store shelves, that only a few years after discontinuing the G1's in the US...hasbro released these. I don't know I just found that all sorts of odd... But anyways, they're all right.

Still find it weird that out of all the choices they have to knockoff ponies the Cabbage patch ponies are still the most widely copied...still seeing ones like them 20 years later on shelves!

I have quite a few in a box.  Apparently I had a collection as a kid and my dad was just cleaning up the house.  I have a bunny quite a few baby's, and some heart shaped electronic thing that goes with the baby.

all right, well if you could take a pic I'd love to see them, I'm certainly interested. If you can't take a pic that'd fine too *chuckles* but either way I'm interested.
