I don't buy too much as of late but I'll keep any regular brushable ponies that I like. I take in any g1s that come my way in need of TLC, and occasionally buy off a fairly small want list. G2s are harder for me to come by but I'd love to work on that collection in the future! I still actively seek out any g3s I don't have at thrift stores, and I'm not too much into g4 but sometimes I'll keep one I particularly like from a Value Village bag, or buy a new one just to relive the childhood fun of opening a brand new pony. :9

I have the 4 pack version of her! I distinctly remember getting to pick out that pack from TRU at about 12 years old. I like her a lot, the mismatched tail/mane colours on that version are sort of unique and cute imo.

Love her- I'm a huge fan of the gradient ponies & honestly quite like the Waterfire pose! I'm really hoping Comet Tail will show up in a Value Village pony bag sometime.

I recently signed up for ebay, as in a few months ago, and the signup page has a feature where it'll randomly generate some username options from the real name you entered. I suppose some of them can seem quite random since it tends to add a lot of extra numbers/letters, since there's a lot of ebay users. For example, the first name I entered was Sunny, and a randomly generated username it gave me was sunsunn_qjqmhc. Sounds pretty random and spambot-ish, but I went with it because I was far too lazy to try and find a username of my own creation that wasn't taken. You're probably just seeing newer ebay users that used the name generator when they signed up!

I've got a MM Windy who needs a new tail and mane streak, does anyone happen to know which dollyhair colours are a match for her? Also, am I correct in recalling that dollyhair pussycat is a match for fading pink? I have a hairless Honeysuckle and Sweet Sundrop as well

No luck in BC either, my local Superstore still has stacks of Diamond Mint & Rarity. I'll check back when I get to TRU next week, though!

that is not really the case at all in actual Japanese society- which is QUITE repressed and incredibly traditional/sexist/homophobic. This is true, but I think it's also important to add that these views in mainstream Japanese society are largely the result of misunderstanding, rather than the violent hatred you often find in some other cultures, so while discrimination definitely still exists, it's not nearly as physically dangerous in Japan. (lower crime rate overall -> less hate crimes too) Anyway, Sailor Moon. Absolutely can't wait for Sailor Saturn!

I'll talk to anything and everything... probably an extension of my habit of talking to myself It's mostly things like explaining what I'm doing during pony restoration jobs and "you okay there pal" if a pony falls off the shelf

Most g1s I've come across already have glue-less heads, either from the glue deteriorating or from previous owners' cleaning jobs, but its certainly possible for heads to still be glued on tight! I have a few g1s who are still firmly together. It is probably best if you take her apart for cleaning though; if you plan on scrubbing her out anyway then hot water is great for helping loosen the glue. Just make sure she's completely dry before putting her back together.

My collection is "small" enough (~300 ponies) that it's covered by the contents insurance on my apartment since I don't really have much else in the way of valuable possessions, but I was told I would need proof of ownership in the event that something were to happen, so I've been attempting to catalogue my collection with pictures. Everything is super variable depending on your living situation, individual brokers' policies, collection size, and approx collection value so it can get pretty confusing!
