just got FS Celestia, she wouldn't ring up, but here's whatcha do...
have someone on the floor scan her with their gun. it won't work, so show them the other FS that DO scan and ask them to print you a label. he printed me a little yellow and white label with a bar code on it. apparently it was for FS Rainbow Dash , because the cashier said "rainbow?" and I said yup. worked for me.
Psst, just wanted to say that I did just this buying Celestia today. Got an employee to print me off a price sticker and bought her without hassle!

Whoa! Montana pony and we are in the same town!! Yay!! I was out the super Walmart on Reserve. Haven't checked for ponies at the other one yet.
I'm heading to the Reserve Walmart tomorrow, and I'm definitely going to try to find these girls. Thanks for the heads up, heheh.

I was just getting ready to start a thread asking for pictures comparing the FS wedding princesses and the version of them that comes in a pack of two... so thank you! Luna and Celestia look a lot nicer without tinsel, in my opinion... though it's a shame Celestia is still so pink. Ah, well. Congrats on the find!
Also, that's very odd, hannaliten... it seems to me that if it's out on the shelf, they should have it in the system already. If a customer can pick it up off the shelf, they should be able to buy it. Sigh...

Ooh, congratulations! I'm pretty jealous too; the nearest Toys r Us for me is 340+ miles away.

Here is my favorite: UK Rainy Day wear! It is similar to, but a different style than the Mother and Baby wear Ready for Rainbows...and there was only an adult size.

Oh my, I actually really like the cut of that rain slicker. It falls on the pony quite nicely.

She is wonderful, isn't she? ^^ I got mine two weeks ago and I'm going to fix her hair today! *hope it goes well*
Oooh, I hope you'll show us. I intended to style my Pinkie Pie's hair as soon as I got her... But her factory curls just look so sweet. ;w;

I want to buy all the Fashion Style ponies, but I'm going to have to make dresses for Rainbow Dash and Applejack. AJ doesn't come with one, and the dress Rainbow Dash comes with, er... How do I put this. It's like a circus tent? A potato sack? Some sort of awkward clown dress? It just doesn't look nice on her, in my opinion. So, show me some pony clothes for inspiration! Any generation, custom made or official Hasbro merchandise, or even your patterns for making pony clothing! Give me all you've got.

Congrats! I really like the G4 FS ponies, they're a nice size and they display well (the G3 FS were so huge that I don't know how to display them! ). Congrats on finishing high school too, that's super exciting! Do you have college plans?
I think they're a good size too. I wish that they were a bit less expensive and covered a wider range of characters though! For now... I think I need some time off from school. I'm just too tired for college just yet.

Aww, what a cutie! A perfect selection for your first G4, she really is precious.
The glue is an unfortunate factory error Magic eraser won't take it off, but you might get it off with nail polish remover (So long as it contains acetone. Full-on acetone would work to, but it's not really something one has around the house). Cleaning/sanitizing alcohol can work as well, but it takes much longer.
Alright, good to know! Hopefully we've still got some nail polish remover lying around somewhere.

Thanks everyone! Now that I've bought one, I want to get out to Walmart or Target and buy a bunch more... Getting ponies is too much fun.
I'm really wondering about the glue now. I've been working at the back of her neck with a magic eraser, but I'm unsure if it's really coming off... There's a dried glob of it on her ear too, eek. Dang ponies, rolling around in glue.

So, in celebration of today being my last day of highschool, I biked ten miles and swung by Walgreens to finally buy myself a G4 pony. I got an FS Pinkie Pie (Does Walgreens even carry any other pony ever?) and brought her home to carefully unpackage. Not such a big deal to get a current pony, but this is the first time I've ever managed to buy one. I'm always too afraid of judgement to even go near the toy aisles. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI was so shocked at the size. I had seen FS ponies before, but never beside another pony who wasn't G4. I guess I didn't realize she would be almost the same size as my G1! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI think I spent half an hour getting her out of the packaging. At least I didn't have to cut it open, lol. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThere was a bunch of gluey stuff on her neck. Is that normal, or did I just get a messy one? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAll done. I'm hoping to get a couple packages of ponies in a while... So I'll be back in the brag arena soon.

lol, I need to get up the energy to tackle the other 10ish hairless ponys I have hanging out around hear...
Oh my gosh... If the birth flower ponies were all as beautiful as her, I would go out of my way to get them all. She just looks so good.

You know, I was considering asking something like this a while back. A lot of collectors seem to really value ponies a lot more if they're kept in their original packaging. Perhaps I can not really say anything, as I've never bought a new pony or gotten one in its packaging... So, I'm not sure how I would really handle it if I got a pony in her packaging!
I will say this, though. Personally, I think that ponies look much better out, where they can be seen and touched and styled. Whenever I see a collection packed with MIB ponies... It makes me just a bit sad. All I can think is that that collector keeps their herd looking like a store shelf so that in a few years, when they run out of love for their ponies, they can make a profit. I know that's not necessarily the case, of course.
Anyway, the packaging has no value to me. It is the beauty of the pony that I want and that I collect, not the plastic she came in.
