Snuzzle. :3 Mainly because I love her name.
Snuzzle is like, the best pony name ever! Butterscotch? Okay, that's cute. Minty? Works. Blossom? Why not? Then there's SNUZZLE!

I'd like to see it remain G3. I like G4, don't get me wrong, but I think it's awesome to still have G3 alive in that way, because I really loved G3 and I often miss it.
I already feel like the Comic Con pony will probably be G4 this year or maybe next. It would actually kind of make sense, since G4 is so popular. Though even there I would love to see G3 stay alive!

I wanted them the moment I saw them! I have always loved tiny sculpted toys. I liked playing with them when I was little and I like displaying them now. They're just so cute. Though I admit I'm not crazy about the Rarity pose, and the Pinkie pose sometimes looks a little odd...but over all I really like them. And the variety of colors is fantastic! Makes me not care so much that there aren't a whole lot of poses. I want almost all of them, though there are a few I don't car for much (i.e. a couple of the main 6, and a couple random color combos that don't suit my fancy much). I just hope we get all the waves eventually!

It wouldn't be so scary if it had a neck.
Elf
Bahaha I LOL'd But yeah, that pony looks pretty evil. Never seen one like it before. I agree that it looks like it's trying to be a G1 though!

I'm no expert, but I personally would not try attempting to fix the symbols (hmm..probably because, as I said, I'm no expert lol). They don't look too bad, and if you happen to mess up, it could turn out a lot worse than it is. As for the ears, I've seen plenty of people resculpt ears and other parts. I'm sure it's easier said than done though...maybe if you haven't done much sculpting before, you could practice first on a fakie or even just practice making small ear shapes, to ensure that when you do fix Tex, you'll be able to make them smooth and 'natural' looking. Maybe look around some tutorials or old restoration threads and see what those people use - I know air dry clay is pretty popular, isn't it? That would be a nice alternative to risking melting the poor boy. :O
Anyway, good luck! I adore when people restore G1s rather than bait them over issues that can be easily fixed or even just ignored. =)

Ohhhhh it's so hard to pick. As with all ponies, my favorites tend to shift constantly. At this very moment, I'm enamored with Snuzzle. I never realized how lovely her gray color was! So I guess I'd go with her. For now. With Butterscotch in 2nd, then Minty, Bluebelle, Blossom, then Cotton Candy. But I really do love them all. They're so simple and so sweet.

ALL OF THEM
No but I voted. It wasn't easy to only pick 5; there are some gorgeous color combos and fun symbols on those tiny ponies!

Well, that solves that, then! Poor misunderstood Twist. I just checked my girl and she's definitely faded. Who would think that they would pair pale pink with that outrageous red/orange color?

Hm...could it be that they're white, but sometimes the red of her other hair bleeds into it, causing it to turn pink? o.O I don't think I've ever seen one with a pink stripe...

BOY PONY -faints-
Ahem. Now that I've taken a minute to relax....I might want to complain, because I do that very well. My apologies; don't want to spoil the fun here. However...
My first thought when I saw his hair was that it looks like it is fuzzy troll hair. Honestly, look close - there's no way it's just a bad image. That's troll hair. And I hope it doesn't stay that way!
I also don't like his eyes (I hope any future boys have better ones), and his head does look funny - sort of block-ish...
I agree that G4 playsets are pretty bleh, and this castle is no exception, BUT, just imagine what Dream Castle would cost these days. Probably like a million dollars. Since I don't want to collect playsets anyway, I am personally not terribly bothered by cheap playsets. It is disappointing for all the kids/collectors who would like better stuff, but, what can ya do?
NONETHELESS I do think this is a great step forward, and I do hope to see more boys (sold as singles, hopefully!). And please no troll hair! You can't brush that stuff!
Boys! Can you believe it? (Somewhat brushable) BOYS!!

I think usually in the house, but also often in the grass in my front yard. Which kind of grosses me out to think back on it, because we had 2 dogs who would obviously use the grass to do their business...
ETA: I also do recall taking some sea ponies into the bath with me. -cringe- BUT! I don't think I ever took normal ponies in. So that's a plus! lol

I hate Snails lol. And Snips. Though I just hate them because they're completely unfunny to me. I don't see them as being offensive - I see them as being sort of similar to Patrick from Spongebob (I see he's come up more than once in this discussion lol). They're dumb, but they're that same kind of dumb that you see in a lot of cartoons. I finally got around to watching the latest episode today. I was highly disappointed that they A) called her Pony (I was so hoping they'd use Ditzy Doo - much cuter and not offensive IMO) and B) gave her that voice (I was hoping she'd have a softer, sweeter voice..) I agree that they took it too far and catered too much to certain fans. The kind of 'dumb' they've made her is more klutzy, which, by itself (and with her eyes - which I personally found endearing) would have been fine. Even if they intended to make her somewhat mentally handicapped - that would have been kind of neat, actually. But I think they've made her into a huge stereotype that we're all supposed to laugh at. That, to me, is a shame. I don't think it was necessary for MLP. I'm not horribly offended by it, but I already feel like the character has kind of been soiled for me. :/ Bah.

Ohhhh, poor little pony. =( Would it be horrible of me to say that I'm actually relieved that it's a BBE and not a 'normal' pony? I mean, there seems to be a lot of poor condition and/or unwanted BBEs to go around... Better luck next time...

Poor Fluttershy! I've come across many G3s with this problem. =( I think so far my G4s are okay in the hair department though. Let's hope it stays that way...
