Those are prototypes, that's from the '84 (?) catalogue. Although it would be very interesting to find a Whizzer in that pose!

MLP Nirvana / Re: OK - so what country is this moonstone?« on: February 24, 2012, 03:13:26 AM »
Well, in the description it says it Hong Kong 1983... so I guess unless the seller is wrong, I'd say it's a regular Moonstone. Although the colours in the photo look so bright it also caught my eye the first time!

Pony Corral / Re: When is a pony considered truly beyond hope?« on: February 24, 2012, 02:22:44 AM »
Except for cancer, regrind and some serious cases of pindot I think all ponies can be restored with patience, time and care.
The worst case I have got is a Spanish Peach Blossom with ink, superglue and a punky haircut. This is it before: (that thing on the body is super glue. The owner had tried as a child to make new wings for the pony and had attached them to the body with super glue!) visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or login And this is it after a sunbath, hot bath, rehair and a symbol repaint (the eyes I tried to keep them as original as possible): visitors can't see pics , please register or login visitors can't see pics , please register or login 1280

I'm so sorry... U.U
So Softs must be cleaned always in cold water to prevent the glue from "melting"... although I guess you know that by now. Maybe you could deflock them? U.U 1281

Customs / RIT DYE HELP: A question for the experts!« on: February 22, 2012, 03:15:38 AM »
Hi all!
I need some help concerning Rit Dye. I have never used it and I'm having some difficulties selecting the colours I need. I have to dye three ponies: Locket into Twilight visitors can't see pics , please register or login Baby Glory into Spanish Baby Pinwheel visitors can't see pics , please register or login Sunlight into Nightlight visitors can't see pics , please register or login The thing is I've been going through ebay and looking at the different possible colours.... BUT! I have read that sometimes when you dye a pony the colour can change... So, what Rit Dye colours would you suggest for these ponies I want to make? Two of them (TE Twilight and Nightlight) are commissions, so I would like them to be as near to the real colour as possible. And as for Spanish Baby Pinwheel... as you can see in the photo NC and Spanish Pinwheel have two different shades of fuchsia, so something between those or even a little lighter would be ok. And one last question!! I have seen two types of Rit Dye: Powder and liquid. Witch one do you recommend for this task? Thanks a lot for your help!! 1287

Customs / Help please! Nightlight hair matches!« on: February 19, 2012, 05:41:57 AM »
Hi all!
I'm sorry to start this topic again, but I can't seem to find the old one... the thing is I'm working on a Nightlight custom and I need to know what hair colors it has. I don't have the pony, so I can't check with my other ponies, and the reference site I usually use, has no nirvana information... Can anyone help me please? Thanks!! 1289
