I think there was only one left in my H&M & I snagged it. I am always jealous of the kids section in there, they have much more awesome stuff, especially the tights. 1278

Lovely, that's very helpful thank you ![]() I managed to get some rit dye off ebay (not sure where they sell it here & ebay is my friend since mostly I'm in work) I got the powdered stuff which I assume will still work ok. We'll see! 1284
Pony Corral / Re: Ponies vs. the mail system« on: July 09, 2012, 08:14:28 AM »My postman is so lazy-I had two poneis arrive, in different packages, the distribution had wrapped them together in an elastic and because he couldn't be bothered taking off the elastic band and shoving them through individually, he left a missed delivery card! Argh. I had to go into town and was fuming when I realised what he COULD have done. Lazy! This. I mean, all he has to do is take off the damn elastic band! It drives me nuts! I have fewer problems with royal mail than with courier companies though. At least the RM depot is on my way home from work or I can get them redelivered to a post office. 1285
Pony Corral / Re: In another 20 years- where do you think MLP will be?« on: July 09, 2012, 07:53:05 AM »
I think everyone will have 3D printers and will make their own ponies exactly how they want them, and there'll be no more Hasbro! Maybe.
It would be nice if they could be made of better material though, so they lasted longer, as someone else mentioned earlier. Maybe titanium ponies. Haha. 1286

I wish I could do this but I don't have enough feedback either. I'll have to get trading ponies!

Aww they're lovely! What did you attach the hat to the body with? How did you make the rabbit? Many questions!
I had a quick look for rit dye on eBay as I'm in the UK, can you dip dye the hair successfully? I seem to be creating a little collection of Bunny Hops now as I feel sorry for them without their hats and bunnies. 1288

Pony Corral / Bunny Hop Restoration« on: July 09, 2012, 03:48:06 AM »
Hello all
I am currently in the process of sunfading my Bunny Hop who was covered in pink highlighter. I also have a couple of other questions about restoring her to her former glory. Firstly - she used to have pink hair. Now it's white (with the purple stripe in the mane). Can I dye it? Or should I just leave it be? I don't feel strongly enough about it to rehair, but I just saw a picture of one with pink hair and now I feel sorry for her. Secondly, I need to make her a new hat and bunny as she is missing both. Someone mentioned a tutorial for this? I haven't been able to find one, so if anyone knows of one & can point me in the right direction I would be grateful. Or if anyone who has done this before has any tips? I have some sculpey. I hope this is in the right section, not sure if it should be here or customs? Thanks! 1290
Pony Corral / Re: Pony restoration - help!« on: July 05, 2012, 12:56:51 PM »Those poor ponies, oh wow. I hope you can get them back to their former glory! I know, it made the world of difference just washing them though, and doing their hair. That and a bit of nail polish remover and they already look a lot brighter. Apart from Moondancer, who is in many pieces on my table ![]() |
