I also don't like love triangles at all, and I don't like Neil.  Actually, I like him as Rumple's son, but I dislike him as Emma's love.

I didn't realize Ursula is Regina.  I would rather she be a separate person, but well, maybe it fits with their story.  I'm not that excited about them jumping to tell Ariel's story or that they are building up to it like we are all crazed about her or something.  She does look really pretty though.  I like that her hair isn't super red.

I may never be able to think of Peter Pan the same way.  I like him as an evil character!  I saw a Wendy and Pan ornament at the Disney store and immediately thought "Oh no!  He is evil!  Poor Wendy!!!".

I have a question about Hooks brother's death.  Did he die because they left the island?  Does this mean Charming will die too if he leaves?  Or did I miss something?

Yup, Hooks' brother died because they left the island, and if Charming leaves the island, he will die too. But I think we all assume that they will figure something out, like a spell from Tink, Rumple, Regina, etc...

Pan completely freaks me out. I think they got an excellent actor for the part though--innocent looking boy, but pretty much the devil. And the accent!

I missed Rumple in this episode :( But he was featured pretty heavily in the last one, so I can't complain.

Who is in the other box?!

Of course I dress my dog

She's a Plott Hound X, short coat, and loves to snuggle. With the cold weather here in MI, I like to keep her warm when she is playing outside.

I usually go to a thrift store and find a hoodie or sweatshirt in roughly "her size", lol (she's between a M and a L, deep-chested with a narrow little waist), then I take in the waist and shorten the sleeves.

Our GSP crossed the Rainbow Bridge last summer (cancer), but I crocheted her sweaters to keep her warm.

Let me see if I've got any pictures handy...

Captain Swan..... swoon! I've hated Neil since the beginning, so this was nice. Hate love triangles though :(

ARIEL!!!! So excited for next week, but unsure how I feel about Regina being Ursula as well.

Pony Corral / Re: Hasbro Makes it Hard to be an adult MLP Collector
« on: October 27, 2013, 09:56:14 AM »
As a mom to a 4yo that Hasbro is marketing to, I can tell you how enraged I get when a new wave of ponies come out, and my daughter really wants, for example, Trixie, but adults have completely obliterated store stock. I go to every store within 20 minutes, as well as getting friends around the country to look, and I can't find a Trixie in store. I look on Amazon and eBay, however, and sure enough, you can find them, but jacked up 3-4x the price.

MLP was created for kids--and I get that those of us who grew up playing with them like to collect them, for memory sake and whatnot--and it should stay that way. I'm tired of moneygrabbing jerks buying out store stock to list it for outrageous prices somewhere else.

Hoi! My husband's family is from the Netherlands, so the topic title caught my eye. I didn't even know that different countries have exclusive ponies until I got on the Arena a little while ago. Very cool and interesting. Maybe I should ask my in-law's to look for some next time they are there. tot straks!

Off Topic / Re: Anyone use soft paws/claws on their kitty?
« on: October 25, 2013, 10:09:50 AM »
Yes! We use Soft Paws with our girls. My oldest, Mae, was declawed as a kitten, and I definitely regret it--it changed her attitude so much. Polly and Juliet, my polydactyl cats, wear the nail caps with no problem. I find that the trick is to catch them while they are napping, lay down and just pet them, and slowly start to put the caps on. Sometimes you can get them all done in one go, but most of the time, I do it in two or more occasions. Plus, it's really cute to see a cat with a mani/pedi ;)

They are like the stuffed ones with the plastic heads. They make noise/talk... I can't remember exactly what they all do. I can take a pic later if you are interested.

as long as they aren't creepy!  :P

Let me check my extra G3.5's... I know I have some, just can't remember which.

I also have some of the electonic G3s/G3.5s. Not sure if you are interested in those or not...

Aww, Buffy, I'm sorry.  :(  But it's important not to overextend yourself.  If this is a success I'll do another round next year.

I hope you do it next year! I'm a newbie to the Arena so I don't have any references; hopefully I'll be eligible soon :D

I love making  plushies for my daughter. I use ValleyViolet's pattern (her alicorn one comes out next month!!), and I paint the eyes and cutie marks with acrylics mixed with fabric medium.
