I'm leaving for my plane back to school tomorrow, and there are a lot of thrift stores where I am headed. I have been really looking forward to going pony hunting when I get back to school because of this, since I have never found any ponies or pony items at any of the thrift stores here at home (and I have been going to those stores since I was a little girl- nothing!). Ironically, the first thrift store I went to with my friends before coming home for winter break, I found ponies!! My first ever thrift-find of ponies in all my life.  So, now that I am in the mood for pony-hunting, I would -love- to hear about your thrift store finds, and maybe how often you find ponies, too! Just for show-and-tell, here are the three girls I found: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNorth Star, Twilight, and Bouncy. Twilight is in the best condition of all of them. So, story time!! -sits and waits-

Yeah, no customizing Rainbow Flash, Daisy Dreams, or Star Swirl.  I would say you are fine with any of the mane 6 characters, there is well over an excess of them.

I didn't realize there was so much controversy over  Pony Hooves. She just seems like the type of silly character than any cartoon might have.

I don't think I'm at the 100-pony mark yet, though it's been a good six years. I'm hoping I will begin hitting some major milestones this year, though (working hard)! What I have so far: -First pony was Parasol -First baby was Cherries Jubilee -First completed set was the 1st year rainbow ponies! I wonder who my 100th will be? Someone special? ^_^ -excited-

Well, it looks like maybe there won't be a prince... -still hopes- Who knows what will happen, though! It's almost a half-year away! And I am hoping for a big plastic castle playset!

When I was three or four, I used to draw her over and over, played as her in pretend games, and often daydreamed about her. She remained with me to this day, hardly changed from when I first thought her up- of course, her name changed a million times since I could never think of the perfect name for her- it's a very important decision. When I was 12, I was drawing a picture of the universe, and the name "Star Dragon" came up- something that I attached myself to immediately and began calling my character Star Dragon (it is a title, not a name, since I still can't decide the perfect name for her- like, "the" Star Dragon). Seven and a half years later, I am still calling her Star Dragon, and she still does not have a name. So that is the story behind my character, of which my username is named after.

Welcome back, then! I used to not collect G2's either... until summer when I decided to see what kind of G2s there are, and I saw Copper Glow. I didn't know anything about her other than how pretty she was... and by Christmastime, I had my very own Copper Glow! She is my one and only G2, so I know what you mean about not setting your mind to collect something (and then being surprised later by how much you want one). LOL
