My childhood ponies are: Apple Jack, a So Soft Lickety Split and a Baby Lickety Split (in my mind, mother and daughter, obviously!), Twinkle Eye Sweet Stuff and Powder.

A goal for collecting I currently have is the Twice-as-Fancy Sugarberry!! I love strawberries as a motif.

An exciting thing that happened recently was that I posted a photo of an eBay auction for Daisy Dancer and then a couple weeks later found one at the thrift store! She needed a little TLC but now she's doing great. I love the aqua/lavender colour scheme.

Hi all!

I'm Jenny, I'm located in Canada, and MLP is only one aspect of my 1980s toy collection -- Strawberry Shortcake is my first love but in recent years I've been expanding into other '80s toy lines. MLP is daunting because it's SO HUGE but now I just throw caution to the wind and pick up the G1s I find at thrift stores (of course, I also still own all my original childhood ponies from the '80s!) I also have a few G3s and a bunch of G4s.

I have two toy-related Tumblrs: Toys of the '80s (strictly 1980s toys) and then also Palais de Jouets ("Toy Palace," which contains toys from all eras as well as other cool girly and pastel stuff).
