I present to you... the assembly of my three childhood grails, at long last!!

There were always three ponies I was dying to have when I was young. I would pine over them online and beg my parents to help me out, but apparently they did not understand spending money (especially lots of it) on ponies. I just resigned myself to the thought that I'd never have them.

Until I grew up, got a job and decided to hell with it, I was gonna get those ponies or die trying! Well, with the arrival of Ice Crystal this morning (via the amazing and lovely zabe77, thank you so much!) my mission was finally complete.

And here they are, my three beauties! I am especially stunned by Sunbeam's near-perfection, and Pillow Talk is gorgeous even with her mane trim.

Let's not even talk about Icey. I'll start weeping.
Thank you to all of their previous owners for making this possible. I can now die happy.

Bananas! I put them in everything. Also I recently tried frying them and OH MY GOODNESS. Amazing.

I'll stop when I run out of room, which is VERY VERY SOON considering I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a boy and two cats. Actually, I probably should be stopping now (she says as she just won a Moondancer and a near-mint Speedy on eBay ).

When I have a bigger place I'll probably continue to collect. Or not. I get bored easily. For now I have several restoration projects in the works to keep me busy!

Have him! He is the King of my herd and my oldest pony (had him for about 8 years). I adore him.

Adorable babies! I've always liked Lucky Leaf, she's on my want list for sure. There's something about baby unicorns that just melts my heart. 

I don't remember who my first pony ever was... but when I recently started collecting again, the only one who survived the sale of my first (original) collection was Wigwam. He has a special place in my heart.

So much better! They look so bright and cheerful now. I definitely want something like that for my own collection!

I always felt like Ice Crystal WOULD have some kind of control over the elements. He just has that look. Next time a blizzard rolls through my part of Ohio, I know who to blame.
