Freezing cold weather.Reminds me of some stupid depressing pony fanfic.Spoiler So in this story full of plotholes, Celestia dies, for some reason that causes the sun to go out and turn Equestria into a snowball with all the ponies slowly freezing to death. And the apperant moral of the story? Ding dong the witch is dead. Hurr durr. Sure is funny how people going love and tolerance at every turn can be so hateful towards a cartoon horse.

Somepony mentioned that the pink variant Twilight Sparkle was a manufacturing error in the first run of the Wave 1 Blind Bags, so they only appeared in Europe like 3? years ago. Later batches (and all the ones we get here in the USA) are the correct purple color. Actually they appeared last year when wave1 was released in Europe. And yes they were gone quite fast as new packs arrived. I had two, but one was given away as a price for a contest over "some other site with horses". Funny thing, at that time, regular blindbag Fluttershy was worth more than pink glittering Twilight Sparkle.

Too bad the blind bags are re-releases. If they were wave 2 I'd be all over that set, I love the accessories. Some of them are Wave 2 Taxel (I think only Lulu Luck, Blossomforth and Rainbow Flash), which is the only reason that set is even mildly tempting to me.
Still mostly re-releases. :/
Re-releases and soon-to-be re-releases. Can't wait for wave2 to hit the US, since it kind of just blazed through the shelves in Europe (or atleast Austria). It was in stores for like only 2 months... Got me a couple before in November and before Xmas, Then in late January, they were already replaced by wave 3. I shall have my missing ponies!

Some of the accessoires that come with the "blindbag" ponies are simply repacks and/or recolors from ther xmas calendar. Like the slice of cake, the portraits or the giftbox.
And from what I've been told, they have been used in a previous generation already.

I too find it far more enjoyable to get what I want by random picks. That and you look like an idot or shoplifter fumbling around to check the numbers on the bags.
Sure I got plenty of doubles. But sometimes you get higher quality paintjobs and you can trade them pretty well too.

Around here they solved that problem by putting the boxes with suprise bags near or in direct line of sight to the counter.
They one store that doesn't... well as I said before, bent cards because appearantly even with the numbering system, people can't be arsed to be gentle with the stuff.

Maybe you should go buy them in a place that has some sort of security.
Around here if you start ripping boxes open and stuff, you have a security guy/mall detective on your ass pretty fast. Reminding you that opening means you need to buy it.
The worst I experienced ws with W3. Appearantly alot of people are frantically searching for Heartstrings and Bigmac and are touching the bags quite a bit too hard. I've never had so many awfull bent and twisted character cards before

Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Galaxy Rangers, Jayce, He-Man, Ninja Turtles, Dinoriders, Bionic Six...
I think I spent way too many Saturdays getting up early and watching cartoons on cable until noon.

the first colts figures showed up in wave 3, which is currently out in Europe. However the special ponies in that wave are using glow in the dark colors instead of transparent plastic and glitter.

You're still a bit early then, wave 4 doesn't seem to have shown up in european stores yet.
