I am glad the site was helpful I looked up the ones I had as a kid too- I never knew their real names. My rearing stallions are "Desert Storm" and "Dazzling Spirit"

I loved Grand Champions! The one that comes to mind is the "sound n' action stallion." He is in a rearing pose with a brushable mane and molded tail. If I remember right, he neighs when you pull the reins and sounds like he's cantering if you move his legs. Medley opened her
window and heard
a very strange and haunting tune
in foreign words
and she wondered
"What is that?
Who could beout there singing?"
So she went
to ask Applejack
about who could
possibly be singing.
Applejack shook her
head, and replied:
"I think is very strange, i have no idea" but,
Seashell was walkin' around and Medley asked
where Star Song was
."I don't know"she replied, and
continued walking around.
Minty also heard
the strange singing
And decided to
investigate where it
was coming from.
They trotted over
to the waterfall
where Cascade was
eating a mango.
But just before
White Cap had exclaimed...
"Did you see
what I just
saw running across
the pond?
It was a giant
pink and yellow
Starry wings carrying
a delicious looking
apple pie on
her back as
she flew past
the big, shiny
diamond island!"
"Would you like some pie?"
Asked the bright
eyed filly. She
took out her huge
fork and began
chowing it down!
"Hey, but what about
the Zapberry jam?"
Medley tilted her
head and looked
towards the distant
zapberry fields, which
swayed in the wind.
On the horizon,
dark and ominous
clouds were rolling.
A distant thunder
made the little
baby ponies run.
The ominous singing
grew lounder and
then Medley realized
that the voice
could only be

This is a great thread. These stories are very touching. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis is my Floater, whom I got for my seventh birthday. I invited two girls who were sisters to my party, and they lived a couple doors down. They had ponies too and we would play together. They had Floater and I always loved her, but did not have her. At this time G1s were becoming hard to find in stores, if even at all. Even though they had a much smaller collection than me, for my birthday, they gave me Floater from their collection. To this day I feel truly touched by their kindness. She is a very special part of my herd.

I would love to have all US and UK ponies and variants first, and then branch out to nirvanas, so I would say never And I don't even try to collect accessories because I don't know how I would even track them all down- that is impressive hathorcat that you have so many accessories!

It took me a minute to even comprehend what I was reading. That is awful that someone would do that to anyone, let alone family. I too will keep a look out for those ponies- hopefully with the community looking out at least some will turn up.

Same here! I am afraid I would regret it since MIP G1s seem to be getting harder to come by. But I do miss the magical feeling of opening them for the very time as a kid. And I will admit, I feel bad for the ponies that have never been opened or played with after all these years
