Everything I've heard about Walking Dead has been good - I wasn't all that interested before, but that many glowing reviews can't be wrong, right? :)

I'm playing my way through Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood right now (finished the first two games over the past couple of months).  It's fun, but I'm not really loving it the way a lot of people do.  I have Revelations waiting for me when I'm done, but I'm thinking I might take a break and just do a quick replay of Spec Ops: The Line in between - it's short enough, and I'm curious about how some of the different choices play out.

Beyond that I'm looking forward to that final ME3 single player DLC, but that's not until... what is it?  March or April?

Heh, there's no "all of the above"?

I listen to Sirius in the car, CBC radio for the 10 minutes or so after my alarm goes off in the morning, and then my own music the rest of the time.

that cute event cat

Brilliant!  I've only heard ever heard good things about Doll Leaves -  I got to see one of their old event bunnies a while ago and it was adorable!

That's not one that I've ever seen before (not very familiar with that generation), but I like the colours in the tail!

It's funny, but the angle of that photo makes it look like the eyes were painted to look like they're mid-roll. :D

You guys have some lovely dolls here!

I see a couple of cat/wolf-faced anthros - are those zuzu Delfs?  Or are there other companies that make use that style as well?  My own collection is mostly larger human types, but I love looking at the small animal ones! :D

These are some of mine:

or more casual looking for okay prices and quick-ish shipping?

I've had fairly good luck with Dollmore for that.  Their MSD-sized clothes might be too big for a slim mini though, so that might depend on the look that you're going for.

Welcome to the arena :)

Thanks! :)

:newpony: and welcome to the Arena.  That is so cool that you have yours and your sisters old ponies.  So who have your found so far?

Thank you! :)  I've ID'ed a flat-hooved Snuzzle, the February and November birthstone ones, and a couple that came with playsets, but I'm still working my way through.  I've been using the Dream Valley ID page, so I'm just searching one at a time.  Maybe now that I'm here I could just post photos and see if people recognize them!

Pony Corral / Re: Puffy stickers... am I misremembering?

Huh, funny - I'd only remembered the flat ones as being scented, but it makes sense that most of the puffy ones would have been too!

I have it - or have access to it at least.  It's sitting on a table in my mother's basement - I was actually looking at it the last time I was over there.

I feel a little inspired to go digging around down there now to see if any of the accessories are still there!  Something to add to my list of things to do the next time I visit :)

Off Topic / Re: How about a book poll?
« on: January 16, 2013, 01:42:06 PM »
Back when I spent 2+ hours a day on buses and subways I used to go through 3-5 books a week.  But now I have no commute and end up using that time for other things.

I should say that I went from living in a major city with a huge library system to a much smaller one, and that makes a difference too.  I only buy books if they're by a favourite author or about a favouite topic, but back when I had access to a better library it was easy to just put every recommendation for a friend or everything that was well-reviewed on hold.

Hi there,

New member from Southern Ontario here!  I recently received a bucket of my (and my sister's) old G1 ponies from my mother and decided to looking into cleaning and IDing them - some of the pony collectors on other forums recommended this as the place for MLP info, so here I am! :D

I'm generally more of an action figure/ball-jointed doll collector these days (although I've been drifting away from collecting in general lately), but that bucket of ponies did provide me with some powerful nostalgia!
