How about a Dal? They have a more youthful feel to them, while still being large enough to photograph, etc. There are some really cute dolls out there. Of course, can always go with a Pullip, lots of great choices right now.

I kind of like it straight like that. Maybe if you do a light tulle underskirt you could add a very short tulle ruffle just coming out of the bodice. That might look cute. Not the greatest sample, but the little tulle ruffles coming out from under the collar:

As far as the guards, my husband is a security guard and sometimes the venue requires armed guards at events. No real rhyme or reason, not because they expect some violent stuff to go down, just part of venue policy. In which case armed guard escort was inevitable...since all the guards would have been armed  Can't comment on the incident itself since I don't know much about the topic itself. *gives Loa some moggles*

Awww Gypsy one of my favorites! I used to have one, she was lost unfortunately when I got divorced and my ex-husband threw away some of my collection. Definitely will need to get another one someday though! Her hair color is one of my favorites out of all G1's.

I was born in 1979, so not quite old enough yet, but did start my collection in the 80's (still have my childhood ponies).
