In regards to hair, I would check out the MLP preservation project. (Mlppreservationproject.com)  It has some great tips on taking care of your ponies, from simple cleaning to extreme pony ailments. Happy collecting!

Thanks for the tips, guys, but I guess my follow-up question is this: if I think I've cleaned my ponies pretty well and don't *see* any mold on them, is it safe to put them with my other ponies or do I still need to keep them seperate?

So, I've been super lucky with my ponies up until recently - some of them were a little dirty or had frizzy hair, but nothing a good bath wouldn't fix. Now, I've got three ponies with varying levels of pindot mold, and it just won't go away!!!  And obviously, I am a total newbie at pony diseases and stuff. I tried the tutorial on the Preservation Project for pindot removal, and it helped quite a bit, but not entirely. Oh, and I also have a Majesty with a very stubborn case of brown mold (I suppose it could just be cancer, but it really looks like mold to me). I'm just getting extremely frustrated that nothing I try fixes these poor ponies! So I was just wondering a couple of things. First of all, what are your personal methods for curing moldy ponies? I've heard of boiling them, how does one do this and how does it work? And can they really be "cured," or is it just a temporary fix? Where do you store/display/hide the ponies so the mold won't spread to your other ponies? Or will it really spread? I will appreciate any advice you seasoned pony cleaners can give me!

We could probably do Lansing, since we're in the Detroit area. Or, like, anywhere in Michigan probably.  the only problem for me will be the date because we haven't been given a rehearsal schedule for our school musical yet, so I'm not sure when our weekend rehearsals will start. If it's closer to september, we will probably be good. But yeah, don't worry about our attending, I've already spent enough on ponies this year!

Sounds awesome! Unfortunately, as a student, I will probably be quite busy around that time and won't be able to attend. But there is always a possibility, depending on the date! *hopeful* I also...sort of...spent a little too much at the fair...but depending on location and cost of the main thing I might be able to work something out. Or if we can make it an annual thing, then next year for sure! Because college...

I really hope they release jointed versions of the other girls- the jointed dolls really are just so superior. They are actually quite cute and easy to pose (although not quite as poseable as MH)
^This. I haven't seen the dolls in person yet, but so far only Fluttershy and Dashie are drawing my eye. I WANT to like the others...it's just very hard...

Unfortunately, no...one of the consequences of being a younger collector  4. How would we advertise it? As other people have said, post on here, MH related sites, facebook, etc. 5,How far would you travel for it? Depends on the date and if we have other things going on around the same time...but probably anywhere within a day's drive, maybe 3 hours give or take.
