When you run out of nail polish remove, try 100% pure acetone next time. It works even better!
I will Also, I thank you the most for being extremely patient with me. Sorry if I annoyed you, though.

Thanks for your help everyone. I recently went out to buy some nail polish remover with acetone in it. (It turns out that it works much better than the non-acetone one that i was using . I guess that was the real problem). Also, I tried the soaking the painted parts of the pony. That works like a charm. I've been really busy lately, but I hope to finish this custom before June ends. Once again, I thank all of the patient people who helped me.

Sometimes when that happens I either soak it in acetone or just angrily scrape it off with an x-acto, but that usually leaves ugly scratch marks. I only use the latter option when I know I'm going to do a FBR anyways.
Painting over it may work if you use many coats or dark colors.
That sounds like a plan. She is an FBR, so that might work. I'll use this as a last resort. Thank you very much . Post Merge: May 26, 2012, 07:52:28 PMGet some Goof-off or industrial strength adhesive remover. This stuff will knock a buzzard off a gut wagon but still won't damage your plastic.
But please, USE IT OUTDOORS!
It could knock out a buzzard? I'm scared of what it could do to a dog... I'm going to avoid the Goof-off at all costs. It's a bit too dangerous for me. Thanks anyway

Did you try to soak the paint? Like, press a cotton pad to the symbol and hold it there for a minute or two, then wipe? Or even pour some out into a dish and stick the rump or the eyes in it?
If that still fails, Goof off works well also.
I never thought of that. I'll go try it right now. Thank you ...It did not work, but thank you anyway. I won't use Goof off. It is toxic, and I don't like the idea of having to use it. Thanks anyway.

I am working on a g2 custom. The bait pony is Dainty Dove. My problem is that none of the paint will come off. I tried to wipe and scrub off the paint with nail polish remover. This usually works in one to three minutes. However, only a ridiculously small amount came off of her eyes. Her symbol, on the other hand, just won't budge. I am at a lost. Should I remove the paint with something else or should I just paint over it? Thank you for your time.

These are clever! Chimicherry Chonga is my favorite. I love her colors.

This silly little thing is my first official g3 custom. Her hair is yarn. I hate the eyes, but I am proud of this . The bait pony was Baby Keen Bean. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

This custom was very weird. At first, she was supposed to be a combination of G3 Aloha Pearl and G2 Light Heart. I tried to make a cute Hibiscus cutie mark, but that did not work out. In the end, she became G4 Light Heart with a tacky heart for a cutie mark. The base pony was Pinky Pie. Enjoy visitors can't see pics , please register or login
