Trader & Shipping Support / Experience with fedex?« on: December 16, 2016, 06:54:05 PM »
I just bought something on ebay for Christmas on the 15th but it's coming by Fedex. Does anyone have experience with them? Are they normally fast or slow? I am hoping they aren't too slow. It says 2-8 days...

Thanks tulagirl. I did find one on ebay that looks similar but is dirty and missing her pacifier. She's tough to find!

I'm looking for a specific cabbage patch kid from the 80's. It's a girl with wheat loops on top, double ponytails, and a pacifier. Anyone have one? PM me if you have one. Thanks!

Off Topic / Re: Question for SAHMs and back to school« on: September 03, 2016, 06:41:38 AM »
kaoskat and dragonfly-that would be funny! Sorry to hear Tak. Why don't people think before they speak? My husband said I should tell them "all the same work except it will be quiet." Maybe I should say "if I get any free time between errands, being a taxi, and housework I'd LOVE to do something for just ME once in awhile!"
Seriously I've been so busy with them my kids all summer, I've hardly done anything I like to do. That's a mom's life for you though;) 10
Off Topic / Question for SAHMs and back to school« on: August 31, 2016, 07:25:36 AM »
At the end of summer, my husband's family has a picnic. The past 2 years I've been asked a question and stumbled a bit with my answer. I stay at home with my kids but they are about to go back to school. Someone always asks me "what are you going to do while the kids are in school all day?"
I feel like saying "I could probably list it for you but we'd be here for hours!" I am a super busy mom with tons of stuff to do but I need a simple answer I guess. What do you other stay-at-home moms say? Are you ever asked this question? 11

My huge summer accomplishment took me about 10 days but I did it! I dusted all 164 ponies! Here's pics of the clean beauties.

I found a great BIN for the coloring books on ebay, $3 each and they are uncolored. Found the book at a local antique store for less than a dollar!

Off Topic / Are collections chaos?« on: August 03, 2016, 07:48:07 PM »
I was talking to my sister-n-law today. She is not a collector and prefers simple aesthetic things in her house. She said she doesn't like a lot of "stuff". When she walks into a house with a lot of stuff, it feels like "chaos" to her. I wonder what she thinks of my house.
Anyway, it got me thinking. Can you be an "organized" collector? I guess that's my goal but my mlp collection has grown quite a bit in 10 years. How do you prevent your collection(whatever it may be) from becoming "chaos"? 14
Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Re: Vintage popple collectors?« on: July 28, 2016, 03:49:39 PM »
Thanks sailorstitch. I was worried the rattle ball would fill with water or something? By the way I'm not a popple collector but Bibsy is really cute! I love how she folds up into a ball too!

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Vintage popple collectors?« on: July 28, 2016, 12:10:43 PM »
Does anyone here collect vintage popples? I found Bibsy at a local goodwill yesterday and I want to put her in the wash. However, her tail shakes like a baby rattle(its adorable:) so I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to put her in the wash.
What do you think? |
