I know there's a bigger focus on social media now, but I stumbled across the Tumblr oldwebmlp and I've been browsing a few of the websites they showcase. And I've been enjoying all the old art, old web graphics and basically all the little things collectors in the 90s were doing with their websites (what can I say, I'm a nostalgic at heart ![Tongue :P](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/tongue1.gif) ). They had wishlists and ponies to sell and trade, of course, but sometimes they would also have little adoptables, and pony-related art and stories... I bet this is not news for many of the Arena members, but at that time, I was too young to browse the web, let alone make a website. I'm kinda rediscovering things and learning a little HTML on the side (hey, never say never! ![Big Grin ](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/lol.gif) ) Have you had a website themed around MLP? Do you remember any memorable mentions you'd like to share? Are some of this websites still up or available thru the Wayback Machine? Discuss!

They are finally selling them in my country! I got three, a color-changing one, another with changing eyes and a last one with glow-in-the-dark markings ![LOL ](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/laugh1.gif) I love them! I'd like to try sprucing them up one of these days with extra customization. I'll be on the lookout for a "mutant" one!

Oooh Zelfs - built my collection over my trips all through europe... they're incredibly designed and detailed little guys. If Monster High saw a revival, I hope Zelfs will too over a couple years... there's enough space in the world for both Dreamworks Trolls and Zelfs

I... didn't like the G5 movie at all. It's as colour-by-the-numbers as colour-by-the-numbers can get. It doesn't know what it wants to be. It wants magic AND technology and doesn't care about how to blend those two together, just piles them one on top of the other. It wants to have a "message" but it's also incredibly shoehorned even by kid show standards (Trolls 2 handled the diversity message better). And worst of it, it's terribly, overwhelmingly, bland. I couldn't feel the magic, the fun or the enjoyment a movie is supposed to have. I'm often the kind who will find something funny to laugh about even in a non-comedy or bad film, but that film is the equivalent of eating wet cardboard colored with pastel chalks.
Also please don't come at me with that "it's for little kids" argument - little kids deserve better entertainment than this.

Hello! Lately I've come to appreciate all the lovely shades of colour in the sky and I bet that would make for some beautiful ponies. Currently, the only pony with those colours that comes to mind is Sunny Daze, but if there are more (official or custom), I'd love to see them! Cheers

Princess Silver Swirl! She's so beautiful... but she's expensive and a bit hard to find in a good condition

And here's another one I LOVE the Whizzer pose, and how all tiptoeing legs give the impression the pony is flying/floating in a goofy way. I wish there were more ponies made in this pose

I love Sunbeam. Blue coat, like a clear sky. White hair, like clouds, and a yellow streak, like a sunbeam (hah) passing through the aforementioned clouds. It's a simple design philosphy, but it works, and I'd love to see more ponies with a similar train of thought behind.

Thank you very much, Taffeta! As for unpopular opinions, uhhhh animated pony media has never been particularly good ![Tongue :P](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/tongue1.gif) I pride myself in finding at least one good concept or idea in bad media buuuuuut I'm still looking ![Working :work:](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/working.gif) I like the fantasy adventure aspects but I think they could have been improved upon

I was always sad letting my pony go...but I was REALLY scared of the rainbow fading cause I thought they would die. (I've never actually tried it...what happens?)
I remember letting the rainbow accidentally fade, all it happens it that your pony sulks around and hides from you, but you can make it happy again if you bring it food and take care of it like normal

@SunPony Hair Salon, because apart from ribbons I also see hairclips on her symbols As for the fakie, Miss Snuggle, because I wanted something sounding like Snuzzle, but not the same for that bootleggy nature ![Tongue :P](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/tongue1.gif) The "Miss" is because she looks like a very polite lady

I remember a green pony with a yellow waterslide symbol. Maybe she had pink hair? I think her name was Topsy Turvy? So many fuzzy details...
