I used to collect G1 ponies about 8 years ago or so, but I sold off all of my collection--I kept two. Satin n' Lace and Clipper. My 2 year old daughter discovered them and loved playing with "ponies"--she also found my old episodes on DVD.

I am looking to buy a few of G1's off of ebay for her--not many--maybe 6-8. I am looking for probably one or two from each set (so soft, twinkle eyed, newborn, sea ponies) However because she is 2, and really doesn't care--I am looking for the most inexpensive one in the group.

Any suggestions on which classic ponies would be fun to start with. If you had only 6-8 ponies to give to a toddler/young child--which one would they be?
