Pony Brag Arena / Tornado and Thundercloud had joined my herd

There are two stallions that joined my herd: Tornado and Thundercloud

Thundercloud is more of a bonus pony  I never expected to get him nor did I ever want him, but having him in my hands, I instantly fell for him. He is adorable with those freckles and he has his original curls and no cancer marks or discoloration and the color of his purple body is so pretty.

Tornado on the other hand, had been one of the ponies I've always wanted to have. But this guy is still a surprise. He is so mint! His hair isn't bright pink, but it's pink and his body color is gorgeous dark blue. he is even more charming that I could ever imagined.

I'm so happy to add them to my herd  Now I have already 3 Mountain Boys! 3 more to go :)

I want to offer the buyer a fair price for her :) Does $17 sound reasonable for her in this condition? As far as flaws go: smeared/rubbed symbols and on her one side some faint marks that won't come off with acetone.

I'm slowly getting more into the G2 market, but I'm still wondering what would be a fair price to ask for those two?

They have few marks here and there, Study has a factory error with the gem in the eye. No haircuts or missing plugs, gems intact. Pics below:

So, does $50 sound reasonable for them? Is that too much? I don't think I've ever been successful with taking offers and auctioning on the Arena, so I don't think I could do that. And I want to avoid selling on ebay :cloud:

5
I remember that back in the day, there were quite a few G3's that were popular and could go for more $5. Port-o-bella and Rainbow Bubbles come to my mind. Are they still as popular? I'm asking because my friend has quite a collection of them and she would like to donate most of the G3's and maybe sell the more pricey ones. Are there any sets that I could advise her to keep? Or are all of the G3's on the market so common, that she should just donate them all?

Price Check Archives / PC for Tunefull *somewhat pic heavy*

I would appreciate if someone could give me an estimate on this girl:

Her flaws as pictured: body-head mismatch, few faint stain pink/highlighter marks on her neck and in front of her bust, one more vibrant one near her symbol, smaller miscellaneous marks on her head, one yellow spot on her leg.

But she has beautiful hair and great symbols :)

(also, is it my computer or do the pics look pixelated? they look fine in my picture folder, but when I uploaded them into photobucket, it's like they've changed completely) ETA: Edited the pictures, so hopefully they're less grainy now :cloud:

About my feedback:
Spoiler
I've been fixing up my transactions and did few transactions as both a buyer and seller recently, trying to right my feedback and to gain the trust of the people on the Arena and the pony community in general. I had a bad time 2 years ago and bailed out in few transactions, but I'm trying to fix everything that I did wrong. If you will trust me as a seller, I won't ever ask you to send the payment as a gift and every pony will be shipped 24h after the payment has been made, in a priority parcel with a tracking number, so you wouldn't have to worry about anything happening to your package. So please, give me a chance.

If you're interested in any of the following ponies let me know - I have few ponies that I'm looking for my swap partners so I can't post a wantlist publicly  But I will be willing to trade for a Salty, Barnacle, Tex, Confetti in the trotting/walking pose or Sea Breeze

If you need more pictures, I'll be happy to provide them!

An alternate rehair of Baby Schoolbag:

She has small rubbing to her eye and symbol on one side (pictured) and her freckles are almost invisible. Otherwise she's beautiful - no marks, no discoloration. She has been rehaired with: donor hair from Painting Time, Pomme d'Amour, Arctic Frost, Envy and Peaches n' Cream dollyhair. She has been sealed with glue on the inside. She comes with a red penguin-shaped barrette and a red ribbon for her tail.

G1s:

European Baby Splashes - has haircut, rubbing to her diaper and her body is not vibrant yellow, beginning of tailrust

Lot of petites (set three, in good conditions: haircuts, some rubbing to eyes, miscellaneous marks) and a playset "Happy Hearts Cottage" nearly complete with Puddles Petite

G2 ponies:

Diamond Glow unicorn - she is gorgeous but has two flaws: one paint loss to the top of her horn and very small miscellaneous pink marks, not noticeable unless you look closely to the side of her neck and on the opposite side near her symbols (click on the picture to make it bigger to see them): *hold*

Sailing Babies Coral & Ocean - almost perfect, with small rubbing to their symbols:

Can someone help me with pricing her? Her only flaw is a bit of paint loss on the tip of her horn. And sadly she comes without her wings :(

I'm especially happy about the Sundazzle girls, as I'm building up a small army of Tropical-themed G1's:

And well, I wanted to make a display for a G2 playset (a rotating one) but instead opted for giving my Confetti army more space:

I will need two glass shelves, but hadn't got the time to buy them  And some ponies are missing because I've discovered they got sticky during the move and I had put them aside for cleaning purposes.

Thanks for looking! :D

Trader & Shipping Support / I'm moving :)
« on: May 10, 2014, 01:36:05 AM »
Just a heads up of why I might be slow with PMs/keeping up with swap threads, etc. I've just moved houses and we don't have an Internet connection yet. Now, I'm at our old place so I could just leave some messages :)

My mailing address stays the same (because my big brother and his wife are moving into our old flat and will forward all packages to me because I'm not changing my ID with the flats address.) and I think I don't owe anyone money or packages (as I'm still discussing things with nhal so I'm not counting her ponies that she had bought). I think I've let all of the swap hosts about my move in the swap threads, but just in case I forgot someone, I'm leaving a message here too :)

I'll try to access the Arena via my mobile from time to time and surely I will be online someday on Monday when I'll be at Uni - so in case someone wants something from me either please post here or PM me directly, otherwise I might miss it

Wanted! / Want to buy the ponies from the Rockin' Beat set!
« on: May 07, 2014, 10:14:32 AM »
I'm looking for all four girls :) I want them to be mint: no symbol rubs, no marks, age spots, hair cuts, frizz... They can have something written under their hooves as that doesn't bother me. I would like if Pretty Beat was the US version with blue hair though :)

If you have any of them for sale, please PM me or post in this thread.

Okay, the topic title might be confusing sorry for that :drunk:

I never ever bid on an auction that doesn't state that the seller ships to my country - or contact the seller prior to bidding/buying to ask about it. So at the moment I'm kind of astounded that the auction I've won shows me that it only ships to one country where the seller is located, when I'm sure it showed 'Europe' when I found the auction. Is it possible to change it during the auction? I've tried to check it on ebay but they help wasn't helpful at all

Pony Brag Arena / The last G2 girl

Without further ado: variant White Pearl, nicknamed by Moonbreeze 'Blondie' No pictures do her justice. She's absolutely gorgeous. I still can't believe I have her.

And she arrived with two extra Princess ponies which I'll be keeping to myself as well  Not only as a keepsake, but also because Princess Silver Rain looks a bit different than mine does :satisfied:

White Pearl with the other special two girls: Blue haired Blue Pearl (will need to focus on upgrading her now  ) and my lovely Seabreeze~

Big thanks and hugs to everyone who kept PMing me each time she was on sale on eBay and for cheering for me to get her. I'm very grateful for what you did. Thank you!

PS: I'll do the proper 'My G2 collection is complete' brag after moving as most of my things are already wrapped and packed up  But here are my G2 shelves:

Pony Corral / "Getting your grail" stories
« on: April 18, 2014, 02:24:28 AM »
Let me start :)

Once upon a time, there was a girl who wished to have as many ponies with magical twinkling diamond eyes as possible. She spent her pocket money on ponies. All she wished to receive as presents were ponies. But even then the girl couldn't get them all, as not all of them were available in her country  But the girl grew up and when she started recollecting, she started with a big dream of hers coming true.

She bought several ponies:

This guy had been a dream of mine since I was around 13 years and I thought that thanks to him, I know exactly how it feels to have a grail pony that you're desperate to have...

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Until I had got another one. Just when I thought I had all my collection complete, with all G2 ponies produced, this one girl popped up out of nowhere. And when I thought that the G2 nicknamed "the blue haired Ivy" was hard to find - this girl was even more elusive. Moonbreeze picked a lovely nickname for her - Blondie :)

visitors can't see pics , please register or login

(picture from the auction, taken by Shira :) )

And now, after three years, 2 MOCs on auction, several missed ones, she finally was on sale as a loose one... And I won her :lovey:

I'm still a bit in disbelief. I need to run to my bank and put some money to pay for her today, but I'm still overjoyed to have her. She is beautiful and completes my collection truly this time. Now I can focus on oddities, variants and accessories :)

So how it was when you managed to get your grail ponies? Who it were? Did you buy them online, at auction, found them in a thrift store, during the fair? Please share some stories and pictures with me

So far I only have two sets of puzzles and that's the only officially released things with my favorite pony I found. Do you know of any other stuff? Bags, mugs, tins - anything! And it doesn't have to feature only Confetti, she might be along other ponies of course :)

Also do you think there is a some sort of a list of comics with pony appearances? I'd like to own some with Confetti, but I have no idea which issues to look for :(
