Hey everyone, it's been a few years since I was last active here, but recently I was sorting through some stuff in storage and found all my ponies again <3 I thought I'd pop back in and see what's up! It might take a while to get my bearings around here again... also, I might be hoping to sell some of my collection, so I'll have to get current again with pricing and stuff So, hello!

I am thinking of becoming a Partylite consultant! I have had a couple parties and have gone to a couple parties over the last 6 months with the same consultant and now I am thinking of becoming one myself. I love the product and the flexibility of the job is appealing. I also could really use a little bit extra income per month All of my consultant's parties that I've gone to have been a lot of fun, so I think I would try to run my parties the same way she does. I am just a bit nervous about the whole 'running your own business' thing... Is anyone here an independent consultant for any company? Partylite, Tupperware, Mary Kay etc ... do you have any advice or concerns to share? I would love to hear about your experiences!

I'm talking about the Simpsons Tapped Out! I only have a couple of friends on the game, and only half of them play regularly. I'd love to add some new friends!

So I've been thinking a lot over the last few months about starting a blog! A lot of times, things happen during the day that I think "huh, wish I had someone to share this with!" A weird thing about me though, is that I'm kinda a private person... This is a hard thing to explain, so bear with me!
I don't share much on facebook, and I'm not sure why. It's almost like I don't want people to know that much about me (I hardly ever post photos, and haven't posted one of my boyfriend, even though we've been together over a year!). The idea of sharing things on a blog to strangers online almost makes me feel better, like I don't have to worry so much about what people might think, as I don't know them. On the other hand, it's scary, because I'm sharing things about my life with strangers on the internet!! Does that make sense? It's almost like I know the people in real life that I don't want to know things about me, and by keeping it private or not posting, they never will. But, on the other hand, I could be passing up opportunities to share stuff with some really cool people...
Also, I always have a hard time thinking of user names, etc. But I feel like I could almost start blogging right away, but don't have a name or theme picked out...
It would just be a lifestyle blog, as I don't do one thing exclusively (cook, craft, sew, make art, etc, I do a little bit of everything!) but worry I wouldn't have enough content to make regular posts...
I just wonder if anyone has any tips or anything! It would just be for fun, I don't aspire to become a full time blogger, or make money from it or anything (if that were to happen, great! Although the fame thing would take a while to get used to... how do people deal with internet fame anyway?)
And also getting over the shyness thing... it's a real hinderance sometimes!

Hey guys! I recently got an iphone, and my sister convinced me to start playing Dragonvale. I'm addicted! She doesn't play very often, and I don't have any other friends on the game yet, so I'm wondering if anyone here plays? I'm only at level 11, so kinda just starting out. I wish things like breeding and hatching didn't take so long! I love seeing all the different dragons though, and some of them are so cute!

The last few days I've really been thinking about my collection and which ponies are my favorite, as some questions have come up in the Random Swap thread. Currently my collection is living at my parents' place, and more and more I'm missing it and wishing I had it here with me! I referenced Ponyland Press a bit to get the names of some ponies and figure out which ones I need to complete a few sets, and just looking at the site and thinking about my ponies and the possibility of new ones gets me excited! Moments like that reassure me when sometimes I feel like I should stop collecting or sell some of my ponies Does anyone else get excitement and enjoyment from just looking at their collections? As a bonus, here's a somewhat up to date photo of most of my G1s and Customs, and the odd G3 visitors can't see pics , please register or login

My 'everyday' shoes are in dire need of being retired. I have this ratty old pair of DC shoes that I should have thrown out years ago. I wear these shoes most often, and I'm looking for a new pair of everyday shoes that are a more mature style than skate shoes, and suit me and my style a bit better. Does anyone have any suggestions? The last time I went shoe shopping I couldn't find anything just right. Everything was either too fancy (high heel shoes or boots) or just sneakers. Isn't there a happy medium?

I bought a nice handmade scarf on etsy, and it's a combination of 3 colors, where one color is just a band of two rows of stitches. The person who made it just wove these ends in straight across the scarf (the other colors are woven in along the edge or straight up and down). When I stretched the scarf out sideways the ends that were woven in sideways pulled out! Then when the scarf went back to it's normal shape bits of string were poking out and some stitches didn't lay flat because the string was then bunched up.
Is there a way I can fix this? I don't want to wear the scarf with ridiculous bits of yarn poking out everywhere. Can I just cut these pieces shorter so they don't stick out too far? I'm worried it might unravel if I do. I can see why they are not woven in along the side as they are a different color. I also don't knit and don't have tools to weave these pieces back in, nor would I want to every time I want to wear it.
It also looks like there is cat hair or something on it, which kinda irritates me. I don't recall the seller stating that she had a cat.
Other than that I do like this scarf. It's cozy so far ^_^

Yay!! Unfortunately I have to do some homework today, and don't have any specific plans for today, but I'm planning to make one of my favourite meals, and am having dinner with my family tomorrow. Yay! I also noticed that my posts have different kinds of desert in them, that's a neat feature! [birthday sticky Jan 29 - sds]
