I just had to share this with everyone, especially to brag on BlueWolf, who picked this up for me. A few weeks ago BlueWolf contacted me and explained that he had stumbled upon my wishlist and had seen that I was looking for the "Fiendship is Magic" issue 1 Twilight Sparkle variant cover. He was going to Motor City Comic Con and knew that the artist who created the cover, Sara Richard, would be at the convention, so he asked if I wanted him to try and get a copy for me while he was there. Not only did he manage to get a copy, but he got me an autographed copy! I was starting to lose hope of ever getting my hands on this comic, much less a signed copy! I am so thrilled and so thankful to BlueWolf for making this happen. visitors can't see pics , please register or login"Fiendship is Magic" Issue 1 Variant by PlayroomArts, on Flickr

I just finished my latest custom pony: Gollum. I created this as a gift for my mom, who is a huge Smeagol/Gollum fan. I'm quite disappointed with the way that the photos turned out. A lot of the finer details in the sculpting—especially the wrinkling on his head—didn't show up in the pictures. He was made from a G3.5 and was sculpted using Apoxie Sculpt. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Here is my latest pony illustration featuring Aperture, Story Arc and Center Stage. I wanted to create a family portrait that showcased the three of us enjoying our favorite shared hobby: ponehs! It took me over two weeks to finish this one piece. The lineart is traditional medium (graphite and ink), and the coloring was done in Photoshop CS5. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFull-size image can be found in my DA gallery: http://sarahramirez.deviantart.com/art/The-Family-That-Plays-Together-425941604

Has Equestrian Girl Twilight Sparkle been released with the jointed arms and legs yet? If so, which doll has them?

I'm updating the image descriptions in my DA gallery and I can't remember who the majority of my commissions and swap ponies went to. If you commissioned a pony from me, or received a swap pony from me, please post here or PM me so that I can update my descriptions accordingly. Thank you muchly. Update (01/03/14):Thank you all so much for your help! I've now collected all of the information that I was missing.

I have just finished laying down some colors on my redesigned ponysona, Story Arc. This is part one of a three-part "pony family portrait" that I'm doing. The finished piece will include my husband's ponysona, and a baby pony counterpart for our daughter. Drawn in graphite and ink on paper. Colored in Adobe Photoshop CS5. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginUpdate (12/22/13):Just finished my husband's ponysona, Aperture. This week was a fantastic pony week! My husband got his Christmas bonus and gave me some money for pony shoppin'! So tonight I picked up the Princess Celebration Bakery and three blind bags (all with awesome finds inside). (Please excuse the poor picture quality. I snapped these in poor lighting on my phone camera.) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd earlier this week we got a shipment of vinyl collectibles in the mail! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login*Original post 12/15/13:I was originally going to wait until my Hot Cash took effect to get these two ladies; but it can't be used until January and we were a little worried that with Christmas fast approaching our Hot Topic might get picked over. So today we went and picked up vinyl Lyra Heartstrings and Octavia Melody. I loves them so much, precious! visitors can't see pics , please register or login

So we went to Hot Topic tonight to pick up some pony items and I see my husband looking at these men's cell phone wallets with DJ Pon-3 on them. I walk over to him and he tells me how cool he thinks the wallet is. I say, "Those are men's wallets." He responds, "I know. I like it." I say, "You would get a pony wallet for yourself?" And he replies, "Yeah, I'm a pony fan, too." Oooohhh it's so awesome!! lol You learn something new about your spouse everyday I guess. No matter how long you've been married or how well you know them; one day they pop up and announce that they've been a brony all these years. hehehe So we're collecting together now! ^_^ Eeeee!!!

I have finally come off of pony hiatus and just picked up my first new ponies in nearly three years! Check these beauties out: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginNow I know that they're not technically My Little Ponies as they're not a Hasbro-produced wave, but I am absolutely in love with these FunKo vinyl collectibles! I'm trying to collect them all and have just order four more, including Dr. Whooves. I am so excited! I didn't like FiM at first but it has rekindled the pony collector within. ^_^

Hey, Arena! I know it's been a very long time since I've posted anything here. I fell into some pretty rough times in my life and took a few years off from collecting or customizing. But I am back in the saddle (pun intended) and I just finished my first custom in over two years. (I actually started this custom two years ago and just recently completed it. So it kind of symbolizes the start and end of difficulties for me.) Her name is Vicki Victoria Rose and she is based on Victorian-era steampunk. I have several new ponies in the works, so hopefully I'll have more customs to share soon.
