I'm working on a book of Christmas stories, and I want to see if you have any favorite ones from your country? I'd love the title and author, if possible. Thank you! It might help my research instead of me trolling for "christmas" in endless libraries.

After dealing with my car and its expensive repairs, my computer giving up and lots of client work, I finally get to announce my new project.
WhattheFangirl.com is a weekly podcast and blog of the best and worst in pop culture from a woman's perspective. We discuss books, comics, tv, video games and more.
I already have two episodes of the podcast up, and it will be in itunes shortly.
I invite you to check it out! And if you're a webcomic artist, I'd love to interview you and feature you in my Female Creator Friday segment (not a podcast, a blog post series).

I picked up a couple of 35mm Canon cameras at the flea market, and am excited to shoot with real film. I just got an order of it from Ebay. Does anyone still use real film here?

I found a Pitterpat today. I can't find her anywhere in Ebay, completed or up for sale. Worthpoint says she was last sold in 2011 and 2012, but I'd have to join the website. She's in great condition - really clean fur. She's from Kenner and she's tagged Kenner Cincinnati. The store I found her at isn't far from the old Kenner factory location (it closed and was torn down.. I wonder if she was a former employees? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

I want to buy her as a birthday treat for myself. I'll be 32. I'd love to pay you $32 for her, ha.
But seriously, do you have her? Please PM me.

What's the last treat you bought yourself? Technically it's a business expense but it's cute none the less, so I bought myself a supercute girly undated Korean planner. I only use undated ones because I hate how corporate the dated ones are, blocking out the day into hours. What about you? visitors can't see pics , please register or login

I know we have a lot of members here who are into fandoms, and I wanted to share my project in the making. I decided to launch a media site. After launching several episodes of our podcast discussing media, my partner and I were amazed by the feedback. We realized fans want to engage with media critically. You don’t need to work for a big media company to dissect what you are consuming. Indeed, fans are the new critics. We wanted to create a place where we could invite fans to discuss their perspectives on media. So we're making it! It's called What the Fangirl. What it is: A new weekly podcast and pop culture blog celebrating the best (and worst) of media from the perspective of the not-so-average fangirl. Do you like television? Film? Books? Comics? Games? We’re interested in everything you love and even the things you hate. We like sci-fi and fantasy but encourage discussion on everything from classic HBO to cheesy teen shows of the 80s and 90s. Are your favorite TV shows dead and buried? On this website we want all your old favorites, like Original Recipe Law and Order, Xena, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and many, many more to rise from the dead zombie-style to walk among the living once more. I know many people like me love to go on tumblr and read essays dissecting media, television shows, etc, and I wanted to see if there was anyone who interested in contributing perhaps? Or just think it's a cool idea? We're going to have recaps, essays, reviews, and more on games/tv/movies/comics from a female perspective. Oh yes, and that means MLP too. There's more information here: whatthefangirl.com Thanks for checking us out - I can't wait to launch!

So we're moving and my wife has suggested I take my pony collection, or a good chunk of it, and out them in floating shelves down our hall. Like it's a museum of pony love. I LOVE the idea and I was wondering if anyone else has put ponies randomly in halls or throughout their house?
Or do you have any other unique ways you display your ponies?

I'm exploring a new business venture, and wondering if anyone would fill out this simple survey.
Do you have an Etsy store? Have you ever bought advertising for your store? If so, do you feel like it was worth it? If you were to buy advertising for your store, how many impressions (instance an advertisement is exposed to a visitor) would you expect to come with your advertising purchase? Do you regularly offer coupons for your store? What type of items do you offer for your store? What amount do you think would be a good amount to pay for advertising your business? Here are some sample amounts of visitors and impressions for an idea, do you mind telling me what amount you would want to pay
300 impressions the first day your advertisement is run 500-700 impressions the first week 1,000 impressions within a month
Thanks dears!
