I found a Dream Beauty (Spritzy, from the Trim 'n Grow line) for $3.  I passed on her, not knowing she was a Dream Beauty, but I was curious about what she was because she was really pretty, and I'm kicking myself for not buying her.  I'm planning on going back to pick her up tomorrow.  The problem is, her mane has been severely cut.  I'm really not a fan of collecting ponies with cut hair, but...she's a Dream Beauty, after all, and those things go for hundreds of dollars on eBay so there'd be no way I could get one through there.  Question is, does she require a special method of rehairing?  Her plastic feels harder than regular MLP so it feels like I couldn't do it through the regular method.  Really, a rehair is all she needs.  She's in amazing condition otherwise.

I don't know how many of you have already seen this, but I wanted to share it with you anyways.  It's called "A Letter From Fred", and for those who aren't familiar, it's a video discussing this 96 year old man who wrote a song for his wife, whom he lost a month before.  This studio professionally recorded his song, without charging Fred a penny.  This is living proof that, no matter how young or old, we all have beautiful things to offer the world.  And it's also proof to me that there are wonderful, kind, compassionate people in this world.  Fred's story touches my heart so deeply...you can see the tremendous, undeniable love he has for his wife Lorraine.  Anyway, I hope it touches you the way it has touched me

I am so psyched, I got 2 ponies that I've really been dying to get, but never managed to find.  First, I traded with Twilight Pink Navarro on here, and got a G3 Beach Belle!  She's absolutely gorgeous.  I always loved her colour combo, with the cool colour body and the warm colour mane and tail.

Then, also, I found my G1 grail, Baby Palm Tree!  I found her on etsy and made a grab for her.  I'm so in love with those Paradise Babies.  SOOOO much neon!!!

Well, I have acquired a G1 bedspread and pillow case.  I'm still looking for a twin-sized sheet set (flat, fitted sheets)

Also, I am in a desperate search for the following large Australian G3 plushies:

Minty (large size)
Sweetberry (large size)
Wysteria (either large, or Pyjama Plush size)
Sweetie Belle (pyjama plush size)
Pinkie Pie (pyjama plush size)

I'd prefer to buy an unstuffed plushie and stuff it here, but I'd be willing to look into buying the plush fully stuffed.

It's been a while since I got to collecting more G1's (limited budget and all that nonsense...booo!).  And it's been...gosh I have NO idea how long it's been since I completed a G1 set!  Years!  Anyway, I finally hopped on eBay and bought the final Baby Ballerina needed for my set, Baby Soft Steps!  This is definitely my favourite G1 set, since Baby Sweetsteps was my favourite childhood pony ever, and the first one I remember buying with my allowance money.  But anyway, that's enough of a trip down memory lane lol.  I'm just so excited to complete this set!

I have been in such a sentimental mood lately, so I thought I would draw a picture featuring my most treasured G1's.  Figured when I'm old and grey, even if I don't have the actual ponies, I can keep the picture and remember fondly the memories   So without further ado, here's the pic!  I finally got the scanner up and running lol.  Here's the updated pic.

Merry Treats:  I remember back in the early '90s, my mom and I lived in our favourite house EVER!  And we celebrated our favourite Christmases there.  One of my favourite presents that I ever received was a nicely-wrapped Merry Treats   So basically she represents the beautiful holiday season my mom and I spent together. 

Medley:  I really don't remember much about her, other than she was always one of my favourites.  She was green, and green was my favourite colour, lol.  I also LOVED her music symbols. 

Daddy Sweet Celebrations:  He was my only boy, lol.  Not to mention, I wish you guys knew how incredibly hard it was to save my allowance each week (mom always called it "Payday", since she would give me some money on Fridays, when she got paid as well).  Every Friday, we would go to the Dallas Galleria, back when it was a fun place to shop.  She'd give me money, and I just could never save it, so I would blow it in the toy store, lol.  However, I do recall actually saving money, and the result of said saving was the Sweet Celebrations family!  Daddy was my favourite, as he was a boy (my only one), and he was one-of-a-kind to me.

And finally, my pride and joy, Baby Sweetsteps!  Now I got her on a shopping trip to Snyder Plaza with my mom!  There used to be this store called Ben Franklin (I don't know if there are any more stores, but the one in Snyder Plaza is gone now )  Mom bought a clock shaped like the state of Texas (which we still have, by the way!), and I bought Baby Sweetsteps.  I still have a pic from the day I bought her!  That fountain is still there, right smack dab in the middle of Snyder Plaza.  Unfortunately, you can't sit on it anymore, as they put a bunch of flowers by it.  As you can tell, I was never very patient as a child, as I tore the heck out of that box so I could hold her and play with her!

Anyway, sorry for this long post!  LOL.  I just really needed this trip down memory lane...thanks for looking, and for reading, if you managed to have the patience to read this whole thing, haha. 

I've lost nearly 30 pounds, then went back up a bit, and am currently at about 25 lbs down...but right now I've been hitting a plateau for the past week.  At this point, I'm beginning to lose hope that I'll be able to start losing again.  I still have about 60 lbs to go until I reach my goal.  I would love to get to 120, but with my body type, that's not realistic, so I've set my goal to between 130-140.  So, at this point, I am struggling to keep my motivation.  I've become a bit on the grumpy side because of the fact that I'm so frustrated (sorry if I've been a might grouchy, BTW!)  "Why are you telling us?" you may ask.  Well, I know some of you have been on this same journey and have worked really hard to get healthy! So, I would love to hear your success stories!  What did you do to lose weight?  And what did you do when you hit a plateau? 

It's been a while since I posted anything art-related, so I thought I'd post something I had drawn this morning.  I still need to get the hang of hair.  There are so many wonderful artists on here who are able to create the most amazing hair on ponies!  Any tips from the pros?
