I didn't even know this is possible, but I was just trying to buy facial cream from Ebay (Thailand) and when I was trying to pay for it I got a warning instead which stated that I can't buy the product because I'm registered with Ebay UK and the cream has an ingredient which apparently is 'prescription only' in EU. That stuff is over-the-counter in US so it's not like I was trying to buy uranium or something like that.  Is this a new thing or what the heck? And is there a way to get around it somehow..?

Just a heads up if some of you will receive this e-mail too. It had ended up in my junkmail folder, from 'service(a)paypal.com', had my real name in it etc. (No, I didn't click the links and everything in my paypal account looks normal to me). Here's the content:

I bought a non-pony item from ebay, I discussed about something with the seller (located in Australia) and their replies made me wonder if Australian Post had changed their systems or if they were going to ship my parcel registered 'cause they mentioned a tracking code. Once the seller had shipped my item they added the tracking code to ebay, but it was very weird, and turned out they had shipped my parcel via SkippyPost. I have bought lots of stuff from AU before, but everything has been shipped via Australian Post, I have never heard of this SkippyPost. I tried to google it but couldn't find much info. And I can't find a place on their website where I could check the tracking code.  So does anyone here know if SkippyPost is reliable and "normal"? Is it a courier..? I'm partly worried because of how our customs will react to it.. (I may end up paying lots of fees as the parcels value is over the custom limit, so if the package looks 'weird' to the customs they'll treat it more strictly).

There's an item on ebay that I want, but because of the ridiculous global shipping program I can't buy it myself or I'll end up paying $40+ extra.  I've bought from the seller before and they're nice to deal with, but this new shipping thing is just insane (and they're not sure how it works?). Shipping within US seems to be free, the item itself is $35 BIN. I can pay asap via paypal! And be forever thankful.

There's an item on amazon.com I'd like to buy, but to my knowledge they don't ship to Finland. Is there anyone here willing to help me to get the item? I can pay with paypal asap. The item is small (well, 3 small items) and price is $15 (free shipping to US). Thanks! ◕ ‿ ◕ <-puppy eyes *blink blink* ( why is there no 'puppy eyes' smilie here? )

In case we're supposed to reintroduce ourselves, here I am. Member since 2006, collecting G1s, very few G3s and some G4s. Unicorns are my favorites. I also have to admit I've just bought a MH doll and another one is on the way.. but I'm not collecting them! (Yes, I might still be in denial..).  Location: Finland  Age: next month I'll be 27 Sex: Yes please.. ermh I mean female. Random info: Besides collecting ponies, I breed and show cats. British Short- and Longhairs at the moment, possibly also Scottish Folds in the future. Somewhat knowledgeable in kitty genetics. I guess that's it for now. Good to be back.
