The Dollhouse / monster high repairs
« on: February 19, 2019, 11:00:40 AM »
Hello every one. I have recently aquired a large bundle of MH dolls that need various repairs, mostly arms and a couple Gigi Grant and Abbey Bomnible need new legs. of course i felt sorry for them and purchased them!

what i need help with is How on earth do you put replacement arms/legs in? Gigi an Abbey still have broken leg joints in them, I have had a go at trying to open the seems but have ended up with a nasty knife cut!

Any help would be appreciated on what is the best to do!

I dont want to give up on them, but because of health limitations i'm not very good!  It was one of those things that seemed a good idea at the time!

Just want to say that i have received a set of replacement arms and was delighted to find that they just clip into place or rather push up into place,  so that at least is a huge releif! I can do that, Yeah!!

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / does anyone else like collecting Bratz Ponyz.
« on: December 11, 2018, 11:32:04 AM »
Hello I just wondered if any one else likes Bratz Ponyz? I have a small collection of 10 of them, which I began in 2010, only having five all together up to a few weeks ago, when I saw a couple in a charity shop and fell for them all over again. I got Sashay and a cute Sea pony one in varying shades of pink/purple with long curly lilac mane. and have added a blue one with mixed colours mane and tail and Ambrosia from Ebay.

I don't think they are forever Fairy dream ponies like my beloved MLP, but they do, I think, have a certain charm. :)

Introductions / Hello
« on: November 30, 2018, 10:54:47 AM »
Hello to everyone, I'm new to the arena, I'm 47 years young and have been actively collecting MLP since 2007, but actually got bitten by the bug once in late 90's and then again around 2004, but it took two vintage girls to work their magic to get me well and truely hooked! they were fine and fancy Dancing Butterflys and Brilliant Blossoms from merry go round ponies. I saw them in a charity shop and was hit by such joy and nostalgia, that there was no way they were going anywhere else but home with me!.

I have a selection of ponies from all the year rangers in my collection, but my first loves are the Vintage G1 and G3, girls.
I have 116 ponies all together along with comics, books, dvds and videos too.

My only regret is that i don't have childhood playtime moments to remember with them as i was considered too old at 12 when they came out in the uk in 1983, to have them.  but the not so little big girl in me still hankers after the 1984 Dream Castle, the Grooming Parlour, and show stable!

Most of my girls come from Charity shops, Ebay, or new from Argos or Tescos!

Well that's all from me. bye for now, Amanda.
