PonyCon UK is only a few weeks away (16 days!) and I'm so excited! Its my first PonyCon and I'm dragging my unfortunate mum along with me. Honestly, shes thrilled, even if she won't admit it. I was just wondering what everyone is doing to prepare? I'm thinking about making a list of the few ponies, accessories and bits and bobs I'm desperately after (with pictures for my mum), so we can split up and look through stalls faster. Is this a good idea? I'm tempted to make a schedule of everything I'd like to see, but if i did I doubt I'd stick to it (I'm really bad for not sticking to things, I made a massive revision timetable for my GCSE's that took me four hours, and I stuck to it for a day...) If you're going to PonyCon, what will you be doing? Is there anything that you want to see? I'm not entirely sure what I want to do other than shop right now!

So, I went to see Mamma Mia! Here we go again last Monday with my family and although I really enjoyed it, I noticed some timeline mess ups/plot holes.. (Please don't read this if you haven't seen the new movie or if you love Mamma Mia too much, this is just my brain overworking and I don't want to be responsible for ruining it for anyone...) Spoiler
1) During the Donna flashbacks where she meets the three musketeers, its dated as 1979, but, the first movie is set in 2008 (I'm just guessing due to the technology) and Sophie tells Bill shes 20. Which means she was born in 1987/88 but the flashbacks put the movie year at 1999/2000.
2) In the second movie during the Sky/Sophie singing scene where Sky is in NY, Sophie has an iPhone (my cousin said it looks like a 8? I have no idea) which places the year as 2017/18. But Sky has an Nokia brick type phone which places the year around 2005ish.
3) Sophie says later on that Cher/Ruby is 25 years late to be her grandmother, which messes up the timeline further. If Sophie is only 25, then the movie is set in 2005, which again doesn't work with the technology.
4) In the first movie when Donna sees the three Muskateers in her goat shed, she sees them all as their past selves where the look like metal-heads (Im sorry i cant think of another way to describe them) and she calls harry, 'Harry Headbanger. In the new movie, they didn't follow through with the vision Donna had, and they just look like normal guys.
I can't think of anymore at the moment, but as i think of them I'll post them here!

Hi! I asked the same question a few months back about a Mummy Apple Delight I've had for years without a country stamp and came to the conclusion that she was just a Hong Kong pony, but, a few weeks ago I received a bundle with another Mummy Apple Delight that made me question whether of not she could be a Spanish? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBoth ponies are different, the China stamped one (left) has bigger eyes and symbols than the NC (Right)? They're very obviously different to the eye (I'm not sure if the picture does much justice to their differences).

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me? So, I remember having a huge white castle when I was younger. It had blue turrets and you needed a key to unlock it, it had a cave area around the back and had little holes in the floor where the dolls used to slot in. Could anyone possibly identify what it was? (If you understand my rambling because, to be honest, I don't) I don't remember anything more about it, apart from the fact that I didn't have a key, so I used to pull it open. I think there was a balcony or maybe a space for the dolls to hide in one of the turrets? I'm only asking because I saw a Disney dream castle on eBay and it reminded me of it!

I've just watched Peter Pan, again. And I think I've just realised something.
The reason why Peter didn't stay with Wendy and why Wendy didn't stay in Neverland, is because it was all a metaphor for Wendy's childhood. The reason she also says that Peter never came back, even after he promised was because he was never real, he left because he was her childhood, and eventually everyone has to grow up.
I feel sad.

(I have no idea where to post this, but oh well) So, I have finally got my hands on a Fizzy! I payed a whopping £1.50 for her (rediculously expensive, i know) but she is genuinely in probably the worst condition I've ever seen a pony in. She's giving Ditch Bow Tie a run for her money. I've got no choice but to rehair her because all her hair fibres have melted together, my mum tried to pick them apart but it made no difference. I'm trying my best to colour match the nylon used for her hair, but have only tracked down the green colour. Can anyone help me match the other colours? It'll be really appreciated

Just curious, but who is your all time favourite pony?
Me personally, I love Bubbles. She is my absolute favourite and has pride of place right in the middle of my shelving. She has a lot of sentimental value to me and is definitely the most cleaned, brushed and generally pampered of all my ponies!

I need help My Gusty has serious ingrained dirt all over her legs and hooves and I can't get rid of it at all. I've tried soaking her in all sorts of cleaners and I've even tried the vodka method (much to my dads dismay) and nothing seems to have worked. Is there a secret method?

So, I recently bought a small bundle of three ponies, Medley, Lemon Drop and Blossom. They arrived today and they're all in great condition. I got them for reasonably cheap (free postage too, how could I not?). When me and my friend first unpackaged them, we completely overlooked the fact that Blossom is a flat foot! She is infact my first flat foot pony, but she has a problem. She is a bit tipsy (literally). She seems to be quite top heavy and every now and again she face-plants and falls from her shelf. Its really quite amusing, but is there a way to stop her flopping? I don't want her to damage herself, haha!

I feel like such an idiot for having to ask this  but how do you attach and post photos to a post? I've tried repeatedly, but really can't get my head round it. For all I know, it could be working, and my laptop could just hate me, but how do i do it? Thanks Edit: I just thought I'd add that I can't use imgur, my internet won't let me on the site at all because apparently its 'unsafe'. Damn vodafone broadband.

I tried to find the old thread, but I had no luck But is anyone going to PonyCon in Nottingham this year? The tickets go on sale tomorrow and my mum is demanding VIP tickets (not that I am complaining)! I'm really excited already, haha!

Haha I feel like a complete newbie asking all these questions but oh well!
About Bow Tie in the shy pose, can she have white bows too? I have two of her and one has a light body with pink bows and the other has a dark body with white bows. All the ponies I have found online has pink bows...
Is it unusual or did hasbro just want to complicate things even more?
