For Sale - For Auction / [SOLD] Bulk Lot of early 2000s Bratz and Boyz
« on: December 26, 2020, 07:34:15 AM »
I have my stash of Bratz and Boyz dolls that I would like to sell all together if possible. I know I have outfits from Flaunt it, Xpress It, Formal Funk, Wintertime Wonderland, and more. The outfits might be currently mixed-and-matched on the dolls right now, but I have included pictures of everything so you can see the accessories and clothes included. I did find a couple extra accessories after taking the pictures, so they have been included as well (off the top of my head, one was a red striped Bratz polo shirt, there was another pair of Boyz shoes, and a purse or two.)

Most of the dolls are in played-with condition, but still generally good. One Jade doll has a haircut  and is probably best as a custom bait (pictured.)

Looking to sell lot for $150 OBO.

(The bottom of this first picture got cut off, but they do all have shoes on.)

Price Check Archives / PC: G3 MIB Rainbowberry and MIB November Nights
« on: November 28, 2016, 08:02:06 AM »
I have sold most of my collection over the past ten years, but these are two ponies I've held on to for the longest. I'm looking for a PC to see if it's finally worth parting with them (car troubles and holidays, you know the story.)

I remember rainbowberry always being hard to find. I actually bought her from a mlparena member in Singapore because I couldn't find her state-side. Unfortunately it seems like those original messages weren't saved so I can't find how much I paid for her.

I see November Nights on ebay from $18 - $30, but I know that's not always reliable.

Also wondering about loose:
Autumn Leaves
Periwinkle
Coconut Cream
The coconut scented purple Pegasus  (I can't remember the name right now)
Kiwi Tart

Any help appreciated! (Any interest in purchasing too)

The Dollhouse / Bratz from 2002 - 2003ish + Bratz bait
« on: September 26, 2016, 07:02:54 AM »
I'm starting to go through my old Bratz dolls to try and figure out what I have. I've discovered I have most of the Flaunt It (2002) series, some of Xpress It (2002), The Bratz Boyz (2002), and at least Dana and Cloe for Formal Funk (2002). I also have some Wintertime Wonderland (2003) - Sasha and Cloe I think if not more.

I have the fashion packs: Study Hall Style and Just Do P.E. Maybe: Party Perfection and Punk n' Prep

If I dig a little harder, I know I had one of the Salon/Spa sets, the FM blue cruiser, and one if not two motorcycles.

I'll be slowly organizing all the pieces to see if I have full sets, but I've also had trouble finding a good source for price references for out of box.

If any of those sets interest you, feel free to contact me. Or if you wanna save me time and purchase a big lot of Bratz dolls and accessories, let me know and we can work out a price!

Also: I have one Jade doll that I must have thought about customizing at one point. I cut her hair off, but that's it. Let me know if you'd be interested in a bait Jade.

Thanks! I'll be posting pictures as I get things organized, but feel free to inquire before then.

Off Topic / Who went to a Renaissance Festival this summer?
« on: August 19, 2013, 05:41:37 AM »
Let's hear about it!

Here's some pictures of me at the one nearest to my home. I made a Fire Lizard from the Pern book series to accompany me on my shoulder this year :)

I've never liked the feeling of people looking or talking about me, but this time it was ok because I knew exactly what they were talking about! You could just hear whispers of "dragon" everywhere I walked. The best part was all the children who thought she was real. One boy pet her and then pulled his hand away really fast like she was going to bite him.

I really liked the way she turned out, however, I am going to have to rework my design next time, because this first run turned out heavier than I wanted; I still have bruises on my shoulders from where she sat over a week ago!

Anything memorable happen on your trips back in time?

Customs / Help! URGENT need for Apoxie Sculpt!
« on: August 03, 2013, 01:07:26 PM »
I'm working on a large project that I need to finish this weekend. I'm starting to worry that I'm going to run out of apoxie sculpt.

I can't really wait for the mail to get more, so I'm just posting this up here to see if there is anyone living in around a 30 minute radius from Rochester, New York who would be willing and able to sell me any Aves Apoxie Sculpt that they have on hand (especially if you have a full or partial 4 lb container)?

I'm gonna keep chugging along to see if I have enough, but I'm calling out to you guys for back up in case I run into trouble.

Thanks for any help!

Funnily enough, the base sculpting on this pony was started before Friendship is Magic even began airing. It started because I had leftover apoxie sculpt after a different project so I used it to sculpt a creature on the rump of a pony. Then my bait sat there for probably a year or so, and FiM came out, and eventually I was inspired to make Twilight Sparkle and realized my little creature would make a great base for an interpretation of Spike since Twilight carries him on her back frequently anyways. Also, in classic Spike-fashion, he is napping through his ride. I did most of the sculpting/painting of the two of them last summer, but finally got around to finishing the pair this summer. It is possible because of all this delay I've been beaten to this interpretation, but I still like them.

Twilight's lion-like tail and fur-framed horn are inspired by unicorns in Renaissance tapestries, which are often associated with "realistic" depictions of unicorns. Also, rest assured that there is a purple streak in her hair. It may be hard to see in the photo, but I stayed true to the show design, well, that is minus the cutie mark. I skipped the cutie mark to try and keep closer to "realism". But anywaaays, enough talking. I hope you enjoy them! If you have any interest in having this pair for your own, send me a message!

Off Topic / Any Dragon Fans Out There?
« on: July 07, 2013, 09:22:54 AM »
Here is a dragon bust I sculpted last summer and finally painted this summer. I'm pretty proud of finishing him up and I wanted to show him off and share him with some other dragon enthusiasts like me. If you happen to be a Pern fan, you may notice that I gave him smooth skin instead of scaly skin because of the leathery skin of Pernese dragons. I also based him on a bronze coloring from Pernese influence. However, he cannot be fully considered a Pern dragon because his features do not adhere strictly to the Pern-type. But anyways, I hope you enjoy him!

Off Topic / Vera Bradley Wristlet for Sale
« on: July 09, 2012, 05:43:57 AM »
I figured that since this is an "off topic" sale it might catch better attention here than with everyone searching for ponies in the sales forum.

Here's the link to my sales post: http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,301710.0.html

Thanks!

Customs / I've been waiting for days to post this girl: Scarlet FOR SALE
« on: January 14, 2012, 10:09:44 PM »
Here's Scarlet, a parrot-inspired custom that I finished probably right on the day the arena went down. I'm so excited to get her up. These pictures do her almost no justice, and I completely forgot to photograph her NSD, but I was under a time crunch, so here she is anyways. I painted her  gradient with a dry-brushing technique, and rehaired her with five different colors. She has three braids blended into the underside of her mane. I painted her eyes using a new technique that I am actually going to tutorial soon because I found it so vastly life-changing. The feather in her tail is installed with a flexible wire so that you can position it however you like to blend in or stand out.

Scarlet is for sale for $32 plus shipping
