So, July has an annual event known as Art Fight and I included my G3 pony oc Dream a Little Dream in my list of characters... and I received the most gorgeous drawing of her!  :green:

The artist stumbled across her and wanted to practice G3 ponies. The final result is stunning and my jaw hit the floor when I saw it in my notifications! I figured this would be the best place to show it off because likeminded pony folks would be able to appreciate the epicness of it.  :frolic:

Lastly something else a little different. This one was done freely without a photo reference and it's of a fictional kitten from a story I have with my sister.  Her name is Mayday and she WILL steal your hamburger.

I would also charge less for the more freehand style as the last image - it works better for OCs but I could also do real animals, I just won't restrict myself to a photo reference.

Last fall, I posted this thread here to show off a gorgeous character design I had received as well as my own take on it.
I was also given a lot of great name suggestions! I've still yet to find one that seems right for me and this particular OC, right now I've taken to calling them "Tender" but I may revisit the suggestions or keep looking...

But anyway, I've since made more portraits in this sort of style. I'm not sure what to call it. Some of them are more 80's aesthetic than others, but all are soft and nostalgic. 

I want to share all of the ones I've done so far, starting from newest to oldest. I'd also like to take this moment to say I'm taking commissions in this style starting at $30 a portrait.  :heart:

Earlier this month, I bought a custom character design by Librho on deviantart from an epic base of theirs: link

It looks to be half lion half unicorn and I fell in love. They were epic to work with. I sent them photos of MoonDreamers toys to explain the kind of themes I wanted and together we came up with this sweetie:

The result kind of reminds me of Kingsley the lion. Kingsley is one of my favs, so I love that!  :lol: I still haven't decided on a name or gender for my new character though.

Anyway, I absolutely had to draw them! I referenced official artwork of 80's My Little Pony and Moondreamers. I really wanted to get that 'look' down and I think I succeeded.

As I said before, not sure on what their name is or if they're gonna be a boy or girl.

I really want to get a good name. Either a one word name, or two words like many ponies have. I'm going to ask around in a couple of communities in case anyone has ideas!  ^.^ Thank you for looking, and for reading~ I needed to gush about them haha. I would love to get a model or custom made IRL someday.

Toy Box & Games Cupboard / Anyone getting the Animal Crossing Sanrio cards from Target?

I hope this is the right place to post this.

I really wanted to get these cards from Target, which is the only place they will be sold in the US as far as I know, but I found out today they are only available for Order Pickup or Drive Up. I don't have any means of transportation to a Target and they're going to be limited in supply.  >_<

I know there are some Animal Crossing fans here so I thought it wouldn't hurt to see if anyone was already planning to get a hold of these if someone could grab me a pack. I would happily pay the cost for a pack and the cost to ship if it's within the US. I had a little money set aside for them already.  ^.^

When shopping online, do they accept paypal balance, if so, will they accept paypal balance without a card also connected to the account? :blush:

ETA: a ton more googling later, though I'm still unsure I don't think they do take paypal at all... so you can prooobably disregard this.  ^^;

I hope it's okay to make a topic like this... if there's one in existence right now I'm unaware of please point me that way. :blush:

I own a couple spice rack risers and I intend to use them for ponies... but I'm really curious to see other collections on risers. Store bought or home made. :D Basically I just want to get an idea how many I can cram in a small space. XD and what types of displays look good, etc.  :)

Not the most imaginative title... but we were talking about spooky experiences in the shoutbox and I can remember reading an old thread like this once from years ago where everyone was sharing personal stories and experiences... whether it's ghosts or just odd situations that don't have an immediate explanation. I find all these stories to be fascinating... but I'm also a wimp, haha. ^^;

Hopefully someone else will be interested in sharing! As for my own "encounter" I honestly don't know if it really happened or not... I would have been four at the very oldest.

I have a vague memory from when I was really little when my family lived in Texas. It was after everyone else had gone to bed and I snuck out of my room and I remember seeing some kind of figure moving slowly towards me from the other end of the hall... I was too scared to go back to my own room so I snuck into bed with my mom and dad. I can also remember being scared because I had left their door slightly ajar and I was convinced whatever it was was going to come inside... then I fell asleep watching their tv...  Monkees I think :P

I had always thought it was just the fuzzy static I see whenever I'm in a dark room... I'm not sure how to explain it but I see it when I close my eyes too. It's always present even in brightly lit rooms (maybe I need glasses?)
When I was little I needed a nightlight because the fuzzy static looked like monster faces and it freaked me out, so I assumed that the figure I saw was the same thing when I got older... but years later I found out the rest of my family had a lot of creepy experiences in that house - even my dad who is very skeptical. There's a good chance I dreamed the entire thing, even the part where I snuck out of my room... I was basically a toddler, so... :P

I kind of hope I imagined it because my family saw and heard some freaky things there. There were apparently three ghosts haunting the house including a mischievous cat. I'm not sure if I could poke my sister to share anything because a lot of it is really uncomfortable. My dad actually visited that town like a decade later and the house had been completely torn down and it was an empty lot.  :blink:

So I've been trying to learn what these cats are for years.

The photo isn't mine, it's one I found on google when I was searching around last year... I made a thread but never figured it out.  :P

I would have gotten them around 2002-2003 and it came with four cats, a mom and her three kittens. They have magnets that let them interact with the playset. (the playset was like a cat tower and some of the accessories were a food dish, ball and a rubber ducky)
Whatever I still have from it is currently packed in the garage but I've been wondering what they actually were. I can remember a second playset at the store and those cats were black or tuxedo I think... I'd love to track it down someday so I'd love to learn what these kitties are.

I've been in love with Felicidades for a year or so now but I know next to nothing about her. Her My Little Wiki Page says very little about her. Is she some kind of Merry Treats variant? Where is she from, how rare is she and what does she usually go for?  ^.^ (I'm assuming she's quite rare)

Also, if anyone has her I'd love to see pictures.  :frolic:

Pony Brag Arena / Welcome Fall Private Swap - Hannah and TwistedRiver's joint brag!

A few months ago, BethMcBeth messaged my sister TwistedRiver and I about doing a private swap together. :D
The three of us decided on having a swap themed around fall. Since I live with TwistedRiver we both received one big box with gifts for both of us!
We decided to do our brags in the same thread, since the pictures were all taken at the same time. I apologize for the photo quality - it was storming that day so the lighting was terrible and currently the only good space we had to open the gifts was on TwistedRiver's bed.

The box our gifts arrived in was huge! All six sides were covered with printouts from the different MLP generations. My favorites were the G1 pictures.

My Tangkou arrived yesterday! I fell in love with her when I saw photos of her online last year and it was becoming harder to find her so I couldn't wait any longer.
I was shocked to hear the doorbell ring at 9:30am... that's way early for mail.  :blink: I almost didn't peek out the door because I figured it was a door to door salesperson or something of that sort.  :P

I went a bit photohappy yesterday evening... so it's not the best lighting conditions. The sun was going down plus it was cloudy.

Wanted! / Looking for G3 Rarity's 3D heart symbol.

I'm currently trying to find the 3D heart piece off of this Rarity. http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/G3_Rarity#Best_Friends_Assortment  :) The piece is identical to the missing heart from my Cancer Awareness Pony and I would like to replace it. I thought that maybe some customizers out there may have the piece or if someone else has that Rarity in baity condition? I'm watching a few auctions for her but I'd rather not take the heart from one in mint condition... I'd feel so guilty!
