I've been making all the background characters and I'm now setting my sights on Minuette & Amethyst Star. Does anyone know what MLP brushable bodies I can use without having to paint them? Most of the blueish unicorns out there seem to be too turquoise for the job. I'm trying to sun bleach a Trixie now. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMinuette - What do you guys & gals think I should use??? I've used DH Nylon & Katsilk saran, but neither one is soft enough or easy enough to style & manage. Other than stripping bald a Barbie doll, like the one below, what can I use, and where can I get it???visitors can't see pics , please register or login

The doll hair I get never seems to match the photos of their samples, and I end up getting hair the wrong color. http://dollyhair.com/nylonhair.htmHas this happened to anyone else? Rather than end up with more hair I can't use, could anybody show me photo samples of the following DH colors? I'm trying to match the colors of G4 Pinkie Pie's coat & mane as close as I can. SUGARBERRY TEA ROSE STRAWBERRY MOUSSE CANDYTUFT RAZZLE DAZZLE

The G4 brushable Pinkie Pie has a lighter pink hair than on the show. Was anyone else bothered by this enough to rehair her, and if so what color DH did you use?
I'm only asking because the pictures on the Doll Hair site never seem to match what they send, and I want to get it right the first time.
Any Suggestions?

I'm making two customs. I gave two ponies that I had altered and penciled out a new hairline for, plus two hair hanks. Sunshine did a fantastic job of rehairing them for me. Now I'm making Cherry Lime out of one of them, but I could use some help with a name for the white pegasus with strawberry blonde hair. Any suggestions?

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI took a chance on a small Luna to see if it could be done. I cut the wings off with an exacto-knife and a sanding cloth. Now I'm taking sweetlittlejenny's suggestion, and I'll use acetone to smooth out any bumps or discoloration. Anybody ever do this with a Fluttershy before? I'd like to know.

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginFLITTERI sent a small bait Luna to Salli to be rehaired and she painted on these lovely eyes and cutie mark as well. All I did was to style & cut the hair. I sent her this pic to her to post here, but she told me it was a group effort and to post it myself. Having the idea and just styling the hair is hardly worth mentioning. Salli did all the real work on this one. When I'm done with the other 2, then we'll talk.
