The Dollhouse / Ginny Dolls of the World
« on: February 28, 2017, 07:16:03 AM »
I'm going to be moving this summer and need to clear out some space, so some of my dolls are looking for new homes.

Items ship from Texas. Willing to ship anywhere, but be aware that international shipping can be unfortunately high, especially for heavier items. I take PayPal. If you're interested, PM me with your preferred shipping details (speed and zip/post code) and I'll get you a shipping quote.

Tropical Adventure Ginny - $9.00 + shipping
She was new in box (from an 80s International Dolls series) when I purchased her, but her elastic had hardened and snapped due to age leaving her head and arms floating in the box, so I opened it and replaced the elastic.

Navajo Princess Ginny - $7.00 + shipping
She's new in box, but her elastic has snapped due to age, so her head and arms are loose in the box. It's an easy repair to do, I just haven't had the chance to do it.

I've hit the "too many mini figures" point and need to make some space.

Items ship from Texas. Willing to ship anywhere, but be aware that international shipping can be unfortunately high, especially for heavier items. I take PayPal only at the moment. I'm fairly new to sales and trades on the arena but have feedback on eBay, DoA, and AGC.

Off Topic / ID Request: 1980s Vinyl Unicorn Figure
« on: August 07, 2014, 07:43:34 AM »
I recently discovered (or rediscovered) this vinyl unicorn in a bin of ponies and wondered if anyone knew if it was part of an actual line (it vaguely reminds me of something that I think was based on either a show or comic, but it might just as likely be unlicensed (but the familiarity is driving me crazy, so I'd love to have confirmation one way or the other).

Based on photos of this toy with its original owner, I know it's from 1985 or earlier.

Pony Brag Arena / Identified all my old ponies! (I think...)
« on: January 10, 2014, 05:15:07 AM »
Last year my mother gave me a basket of old G1 ponies that she'd saved from my childhood toy box (mixed up with my younger sister's - going through them I found a couple of hers and noticed that a few of mine were MIA, so they probably went into her basket).  It took me a while of playing with the Dream Valley identifier, but I think I have them all named now! :D

Here's the basket:

Twilight (who was my sister's, and who needs some serious cleaning):

And the lot of them together:

Missing in action are Majesty and a little purple baby seapony, but I'm fairly certain they're still in my mother's basement, since she hasn't given my sister her pony basket yet.

Anyway, that's all of them! :frolic: If I've mislabeled anyone, let me know!  There were a few outfits as well - at some point I'll take photos of those too.

Thanks for looking! :D

Introductions / Greetings!
« on: January 16, 2013, 11:23:06 AM »
Hi there,

New member from Southern Ontario here!  I recently received a bucket of my (and my sister's) old G1 ponies from my mother and decided to looking into cleaning and IDing them - some of the pony collectors on other forums recommended this as the place for MLP info, so here I am! :D

I'm generally more of an action figure/ball-jointed doll collector these days (although I've been drifting away from collecting in general lately), but that bucket of ponies did provide me with some powerful nostalgia!
