Pony Corral / Rare or sought after G3s?

I'm trying to educate myself more about G3s as I only have a few but I realized with much horror, when I'm looking at lots of picking through box at garage sales I have no clue the come ones I should pass and the rare ones to pounce on. So I was wondering who's the harder to find treasure if this generation?

Pony Brag Arena / Greatest cragistlist haul

So alway check my local cragistlist for listing for dolls and ponies rarely do I find anything great but today I found a huge bag of g1 ponies for $50 and I knew I had to have them!

They are all in great shape I think they where a childhood collection that just wasn't played with much. Other then being dirty they all are in nice condition some still have factory curls and ribbons.

First up are the adult ponies:

And all the extras (not pictured is 4-speeds hat because I got so excited and put it on him instead)

Most of the baby ponies are complete minus the diaper boxes. I'm so excited to have these guys I'm actually shaking. Count down, ff blossom and 4-speed are really the hems of this lot I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd have them.

Pony Corral / Humidifier + ponies =?

My doctor has told me that I need to sleep with a humidifier on for my throat. I'm now worried of the effects that it could have on my ponies. They live on a book shelf in the corner on the other side of the room and can't be moved from the room. Will it cause pony cancer?

The Dollhouse / La La Loopsy

Does anybody collect them? Does anybody watch the show?

My first interested in them was kinda dark as the button eyes were, at first, unnerving. Then I began watching the show after school. I was hopelessly in love. Everything about it is adorable. I love how the girls also vary in race and skin colours, there are not just on kind of black character or white or whatever they all have different shades.

The dolls are really up there for me as far as price but I did see a cute icecream girl I wanted along with an Alice in wonderland themed one. Also i've seen $5 knock offs at family dollar with full plush bodies and molded heads i might pick up next time i see on.

Trader & Shipping Support / Columbus Craigslist castle pick up

I found a g4 castle on craigslist that I have been dying to get my hands on for a while now really cheap.

The seller lives in Columbus Ohio while I live in Chillicothe (about an hour away). She refuses to ship because she believe it's to much effort for a toy. I cannot drive there on my own because my family does not support my collecting.

(as embarrassing as it is i'm almost 19 and still don't know how to drive)

Where i'm getting at is would anybody be willing to pick up the castle for me and maybe mail it to me. I'm know sure how much the shipping would be but i'm sure in the end it would be cheaper then the $40 it cost in stores. I will be willing to pay for the postage and of course the castle and even a finder's fee.

(if any fellow collectors would happen to be driving through both towns and wouldn't mind just picking the castle for me would be awesome too!~)

Would anybody be willing to help me out?

Customs / Cost of a custom?

I was thinking about commissioning a custom of my OC. Nothing ornate just a white g4 peg with pinkie mold eyes.

I don't know when i'd get the commission done but I'd just like a price range on how much i'd cost.

Pony Corral / Pink highlighter marks?

I got a couple new g1 ponies today from member here on the Arena. Including my newbie grail, Glory~ They all cleaned up very nicely. Only issue is glory has some pink highlighter type marks on her NDS. I tried magic eraser but it didn't work. I kind of don't want to try sunning her because she's already a pretty bright white and it's been cloudly for weeks.

Anybody help?

Pony Corral / How to tell the difference between year 2 and year 3

I'm trying to complete a set of unicorns and Pegasi when i realized I don't know what years my firefly glory and moondancer are. Are there any differences? I believe year 2 firefly's hair is longer and I think my moondancer is a year two but i'm not sure. I am wondering simply for the sake of having correct brushes.

The first ever blank flank as may of you know was a little earth filly named Ember

She only shows up in Rescue at midnight castle had no back card and had one book, Ember's Dream which came with Ember who had a cutie mark

But it's never revealed what her skill is. I currently don't have any theory of my own but i would love to hear everybody's else's.

Pony Corral / Pony cleaning help

I removed the head off my Moondancer when I noticed a cancer like spot on the inside of her rump. I was wondering what was the best way to treat that.

Also upon removing her tail I found her washer is covered in green gunk like you would find on an old penny it it also stuck on the inside of her tail hole. What should I clean it with?

Pony Brag Arena / Welcome Moondancer!

I just finshed watching the newest episode of FiM and sat down to eat breakfast when the I saw the mail man put a package with my name on it in the mailbox out side. I dropped everything and ran out side to get it. Excitedly i ripped it open to find MOONDANCER!! I didn't expect her till monday. I'm super happy right now and she's so pretty and only the second g1 to enter my herd! (pictures later if I can take her to the spa before my show and practice tonight)
