POP QUIZ HOTSHOT! Can you name this tropical fish? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI do a nail polish and nail art blog and I am gonna do a manicure based on this beauty's patterning but when I write the post I want to use the name of the breed/species. I found it on google, and it's quite possible this is photoshopped. Maybe this breed doesn't exist, but I think it does. I hope it does or else I have to pick a new animal pattern. Thanks for looking!

It's hard to tell what my first pony was, as it was (Message Redacted) years ago. I always thought it was Whizzer but a photo has recently shown up making me think it might have been Moondancer. What about you guys? have any early photos of you with your ponys? visitors can't see pics , please register or loginOh, that's me standing and Eluluu sitting down. I can't quite make out if or what pony is in her stocking. [topics merged ~ many thanks ~ hathorcat]

So I decided my Blind Bag Doctor Whooves needed a friend ( http://mlparena.com/mlp/index.php/topic,311761.msg453213.html#msg453213), so I started to turn Berry Shine into a TARDIS. But as I'm painting her with white paint (to make the blue stands out better. Glad I did, wasn't gonna) the paint is beading off her. I finally got enough slapped on her but is there a coat of oil on the BBs? How do I go about prepping in the future? Soap and Water? A dip in Acetone? What do you guys suggest? And should I scrub the paint I put on her off and prep her better? Will my paint peel off or should it be fine? Has anyone had this issue before?

So my sister dropped off this little lady to me at work today (really, there I am filling ornaments when Eluluu comes out of nowhere and chucks a Blind Bag at me. Not that I'm complaining mind you). We'd been talking bout me easing into customs and I wanted to start small. Hence the blind bag. So I have a few hours to kill before I head to bed so I wanna turn this : visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginin to this: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo anyone wanna walk me thru this? Where do I start. I literally have an Exacto in my hands and paint on my desk. I'm gonna do this right now. I'm gonna skip a few steps I know I should do (mostly prep. I don't like prep, its 10 at night, and its only a blind bag so I think I can skip it...maybe...am I being foolish?) like removing old paint and priming the figure. Her hair bugs me so I'm thinking that's the first to go...but I'm kinda nervous making that first cut. Do I cut it off or sculpt around it? I think I'll keep the bangs but the tip of the tail and the rest of the hair should go.

Well I just made reference sheets for my ponysona's and its not exactly art but I'm kinda proud of them. Now I have a strange urge to create new sona's just to make more ref sheets I used DollDivine.com to create the base pony, then in MSPaint I changed colors, added cutie mark and other markings. Wondering if I should add descriptions of personality too. And Widdershin's hooves are bothering me. She's a girl and I think those hooves look boyish. Little tweaks. Now to come up with new OC's. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginPost Merge: July 02, 2012, 09:58:56 PMI'm haveing a BLAST making these . Tried to break out of my comfort zone of Earth ponies only to have the hair cover the horn. bah I really like the "glow" effect I managed to get with the spray can tool. Never got glow to work before. Haven't decided if Wisp is a boy or girl yet. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

It's my Star Birthday (when the age you turn matches the date) and that is what I'm gonna focus on today. Not the other obvious fact about my birthday today Not sure what to do to celebrate. Maybe paint my nails or something. Any ideas?

This past weekend I scored some 2 G3s and 2 McD (I think thats what they are) ponies with some accessory (sorry not familiar with G3 at all. I'm a G1 girl) at a garage sale for one buck for all. Eluluu told me to "go for it" and "you can learn to customize with them". visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo I did. Now I've never customized a pony before. Ever. So I figured this was a good time to learn every thing. Prepping, painting, re hairing, the works. Hmm the white one (later identified at Sunny Daze) looks enough like my OC Lovely Lacquer that maybe I can make her. I mean, shes not a Sweetheart Sister but hey, I'm just learning the ropes. I'll practice on a G3 before I touch my beloved G1's. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginBut now I've run into a touch of difficulty. Sunny's head is cocked at a weird angle and full of glue and hair. How am I to clean up this mess? I'm so very new to this and am open to all suggestions. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginUgh, what a mess. I'm so close to just throwing it at Eluluu.

I'm not much of an artist, but I do like to draw. Here is my first stab at drawing ponys. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis is Widdershin. She's a crafty pony who likes to spin, weave, knit and generally create clothes and costumes. She is a soft beige brown, with chestnut brown and golden brown mane and tail. Her symbol is 3 drop spindles with golden thread on them. She enjoys spending time with her sheep friends and daydreaming at her loom. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThis lovely lady has yet to be named. I'm tentatively calling her Laquered Love but I'm still not thrilled with the name. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has a better idea. She is a white Sweetheart Sister with bright pink, soft pink and white mane and tail. Her symbol is spilled nail polish and she sports socks that drip with polish as well. She is kind of a work in progress as her symbol and drip patterns might change a little bit. She is a fashionable Sister who loves make up and especially nail (or is that hoof?) polish. A day spent among her friends doing each others hoofs and looking at fashion magazines is a day well spent for her.

Hello everyone! I was just gonna lurk on this forum but my sister convinced me to make an account (thanks Eluluu). I'm not much of a collecter, that's Eluluu's thing but I do have some favs like Seashell, Bubbles, Sweetheart Sisters and Minty. I did grow up on ponys tho. I do love the art work featured on this forum and that is what really made me want to join up Anyway, thanks for having me!
