This may sound silly to some, but I enjoy posing my dolls as couples. (yes, I am a grown woman lol) Anywho, I was wondering if anyone else enjoyed this? If so I'd love to see your doll couples! Does anyone have any idea of a cheaper easier to find baby to use with barbie? Krissy and barbie infants are so rare and hard to come by. I don't want to spend a whole bunch of money on babies. I'd rather get them cheaper. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello, I have a question for those who have My Scene dolls. Could you tell me the difference in size compared to them and a barbie, or a project MC2 Doll please? I am planning on ordering some but I want to see some comparison pictures first. I need a few boy dolls and I haven't found a lot of Ken's that I like and Project MC2 doesn't make boys. So if someone could show me some doll comparison photos, that would be great. Thank you

I was playing around with some of my dolls today and I noticed something. While I love both companies and have dolls from each, I'm really starting to see a quality difference. Especially in clothes. Barbie dresses in particular seem to be so cheaply made. I have one doll for example that when I ordered her, I assumed was wear separates. However, when I got her I found out that her skirt and top were sewn in one piece. Which was really annoying because now I can't do any mismatching with it. I also noticed that the details aren't as great as some of my MGA lines. For another example, Bratz dolls seem to have pretty good quality clothes. At least the earlier lines. And don't get me started on Barbie shoes. It's hard to find anything back in the 90's that wasn't a plastic basic pink slip on.
So which company do you think made the better doll line. I love Barbie. But when it comes to quality, I'm noticing that it's just not matching with MGA. Some of my Bratz have way better hair than my Barbie's. And my Project MC2 dolls have some of the cutest most detail little clothing items. Not to mention the adorable little wrinkles on their feet. Which brings me to the question as to why most MGA lines ultimately fail when Mattel seems to do so much better. Even Monster High is starting to get cheaper and cheaper. I don't collect EAH so I can't speak for them ufortnately. And the Mattel Disney dolls were very cheaply made. I like to image what it would have been like if MGA would have had that line.

As some of you may know, back a few years ago I had to sell off my entire pony collection. Well after finally getting stable again, this year I started getting back into toy collecting. Mostly dolls. But today at Walmart I managed to snag some project mc2's I really wanted as well as finally getting ponies again. I am over the moon. It is so exciting to be able to buy ponies again. Walmart had mostly the main core but I actually ended up finding two non main that are absolutely adorable. I'm just so happy right now. I missed collecting MLP so much. I'm so glad to be able to get a small collection again. On another brag, I've been OBSESSED with Trolls since I saw the movie and have been obsessively buying Reeses Puff cereal the past couple weeks trying to get all the little figures. I managed to get two I didn't have. I only need DJ Suki and I'll have a complete set now as I already have Branch. I'm stoked! Just wondering what everyone is using for displaying their ponies/dolls/collectibles. I'm on the fence of trying an open shelf bookcase. Walmart has some pretty good deals on them with good review but I'm not sure yet. Currently, all my things sit on the top of my bookcases that all my books are stored in. I'm not huge on space right now. I have a spare room which doubles as a library/office. I'd like to also make it a showcase room for my things. I doubt my boyfriend wants all my dolls and what not spilling into the living room lol.
So what are you guys using? Basic bookcases? Wall shelves? Ideas would be great.

Hello! I have a question for all you fakie collectors out there. I own two Buddy L Fakies. I adore these. I had a bunch when I was a kid but I've having trouble finding any kind of ID database for them. I'd ideally like to collect them all. Does anyone know of any information on these? Anyone else collect them? So far I have a Pegasus that's white with pink hair and an all orange one with a green saddle.

Wow.. it's so weird to be here again. I can't remember the last time I logged on. Life got in the way. I used to be an active member here. I collected Ponies as well as Monster High dolls. Long story short, I went through some financial struggles these past few years and had to sell my entire collection of both. Then this past march my mom passed away. That led me to start slowly collecting Barbies this year. Mostly 90s-early 2000's stuff. Anyway, I remembered this forum, and somehow my log in too though it took me a few tries lol. Anyway, just wondering if there are any hardcore Barbie collectors hanging around these days. I unfortunately don't have any of my ponies anymore and I don't think I'll start collecting again but I'd love to be an active member on the dolly board. So where are my barbie collectors?

As a lot of you know, a couple months back I had to put all my collections on hold so I could move out of a very bad situation. I now have my own apartment but because of the new ObamaCare, being part time, my hours will be cut drastically to no more than 24 per week. Because of that, I am thinking about selling some of my collections. First to go will have to be my Monster High dolls. I have quite a few of them. I have all accessories they came with but would have to dig them out. Right now I'm just checking to see interest. I have no idea what to price them at so if anyone could help me with that too.

As some of you know, I have been trying to get an apartment with a friend because living with my parents hasn't been working out. Wellll I got approved and am moving in this week. Unfortunately, I won't be able to keep up collecting that much and won't have access to internet as often. So I just wanted everyone to know that I'll stop in to say hi when I can and will continue to love ponies, dolls, and of course everything ELSE I collect as well! I'm gonna miss being here more often! The arena is an awesome place Wish me luck on my new apartment life!

So yesterday my cat snatched a sparrow out of a bush and handed it to me.... no the bird has trouble flying but now external injuries. it eats, poops, and hops and walks.. sleeps a lot.. The thing is.. it won't leave! I tried to set it free but it keeps following me and hopping around the ground. I put it in the pine tree and it fluttered down the best it could. It sits in my hand and won't get out.. I want to turn it loose but it just won't go.  Advice?
