Pony Brag Arena / CadePony's Brags and Collection Pics UPDATE ON PAGE TWO
« on: March 03, 2015, 03:40:39 PM »
I figured it's time I started a thread about my Pony Brags (as well as use the same thread to show off pics of my collection as it grows).
First of all, this is my most recent brag... I bought these Ponies off of Rhian:

I used to have Glory as a kid, so it's nice to be reunited with her. As far as I can remember, I never had Confetti and Gusty... and Gusty was one of the G1 Ponies I told myself I got to have in my collection, so... yay!
Then, last month when I decided to get back into G1 Ponies, I managed to score these three Pony Friends off of eBay:

Oakley! So funny story, as a kid I never knew about the Pony Friends. In fact, it wasn't until I had joined MLP Arena that I learned of their existence. I do believe Oakley was the first Pony Friend that I was introduced to thanks to this here forum. So when I saw an Oakley up for bid on eBay and that no one was bidding on her, I knew I had go for it. You can't tell in the photo, but there's a bluish mark under her belly along with a few other minor imperfections (you literally have to scrutinize her in person to see those imperfections). The seller did describe the imperfections, but I decided to go ahead and bid on Oakley anyway with the understanding that she's hard to find. In the end, I ended up being the sole bidder and won Oakley. My best friend kidded me that nobody wanted to bid against me because they knew Oakley was meant to be mine. *Sheepish laugh*

Spunky! The same time I was bidding on Oakley, I saw a different seller auctioning Spunky. A few other people were bidding on Spunky and the bidding price at the time I looked at the listing was around $10, so I decided to jump in and put in a max bid of $100. I ended up winning, of course. *Sheepish laugh*

Cha Cha Llama! While I was searching for more of the Pony Friends on eBay to see which other ones I'd like in addition to Oakley and Spunky, I found a seller who had Cha Cha Llama in very excellent condition (no visible flaws or imperfections whatsoever). I fell in love and, after making sure I had enough funds to pay for her after I had won Oakley and Spunky, I went ahead and bought her. Cost me about $98, but... I regret nothing. *Swoons*
And I know I showed these two pics in the "Show Your MLP Shelf" thread, but here's my G4 Ponies all situated on top of my dresser/chest of drawers:

That's all for now!
