Hi all!
I wanted to share a drawing I did last night while trying to finally design myself a pony-sona! I'm forever sad that we didn't get any big brother twinkle eye ponies (I love any ponies that have feathering details on their hooves!!!) so I decided to make my pony into one! His wings are meant to be like the fins of a flying fish. Those might not stay, because they're a bit silly, but I always put those wings on my sonas so I figured I'd try it.

The cutie mark is a fish with legs, because that's how I usually doodle myself. I think the idea is that he can turn into a sea pony sometimes, because I love fish and sea creatures

I'm going to try to draw the sea pony version soon.

My friend was gifted this pony by a someone, but it got lost in the mail before she could actually get her hands on it... So I have no further details! I've tried searching around on little wiki and mlpmerch and haven't found anything.

Does anyone know what the name of this set is? Or the name of the pony? I'd really like to find one to give her

Customs / Do you ever feel bad customizing a pony?

Sometimes, even if it's a very common pony and she's in bad shape, I feel a little bad taking her apart to customize.... Does anyone else feel this way? I can't shake the feeling that I'm "ruining" a collectors item with my silly art.

I'd love to work with HQG1C but they're (understandably!) More expensive to get my hands on, and I haven't been able to find many unhaired options for sale within the US at the moment!

Is this silly, or do you guys agree? Do you have a certain criteria for what makes a pony "baity" enough to customize??

Hi everyone!! its been a really long time since ive been here- life loves to get in the way of hobbies.

But recently I've been bitten by the pony bug again!! So to get back into things, here's a question:

What is your CURRENT favorite pony?
Maybe it's one you just added to your collection, one you just learned about, or one that really suits the season!! You don't have to worry about picking an all-time favorite, just tell me who you've really been appreciating lately!! Bonus points if you include a picture!

(I think my answer right now is g3 Star Catcher, because I've been restoring one for a friend of mine, AND I just purchased enough of her beautiful metallic ~~trans flag colored~~ hair to make at least one custom for myself!!

Customs / Custom Cow Pony!!

Hi all!! I wanted to show the custom pony I made for my bestie last year for christmas!! The pony is based on her own ponysona design- which is actually a little cow, not a pony!!

It was my first attempt at a custom pony, so I learned a lot during the process, but I still think she turned out very cute!!

Pony Corral / restoring sugar apple + bng brilliant bloom! (advice wanted!)

hello everyone!! this is my first real forum post so i hope im doing everything right- I've tried hard to double check and make sure I'm following all the etiquette, I'm sorry if I've missed anything!

Summary/ tldr: Can I sunfade Sugar Apple and Brilliant Bloom to help get rid of the yellowing on their bodies?

I recently found a few g1 ponies at a flea market and I've been working on cleaning up and restoring them. so far I've been really successful (I've given them both baths with dish soap and a little magic eraser, + conditioned their hairs) but now I've run into something I'd like some advice from more seasoned pony fans on! my brush and grow Brilliant Bloom and my candy cane ponies Sugar Apple both have slightly yellowed/dingy vinyl bodies, and I was wondering if there's anything I can do to hopefully bring them back to their original colors!

I've heard sunfading can help with brightening up colored ponies, but I can only find detailed resources about fading white ponies so I'm hesitant to just go for it. Does anyone know if it could help in this case, and if these two might burn in the sun?

Introductions / Hello!

Hi there!! My name is Peep, I'm 21, my pronouns are he/she, and I'm from the united states! I'm a relatively new collector (about a year or so) but I've loved ponies since I was a little kid! my first gen was g3 and I have so many fond memories of them growing up. Unfortunately I lost my childhood collection over the years, and the thing that made me want to start collecting as an adult was how much I missed my old ponies!! :')

I've successfully gotten back all the ones I had as a kid (my collection was small lol!) and now I'm branching out to more! I just recently found my first batch of G1s at a flea market and I'm SO happy to have them!! I actually joined this forum because I needed resources on restoration and found a lot of people linking to threads here.

I currently have 5 G1 ponies and 18 G3 ponies, and those are the two generations I'm most interested in collecting- though if I were ever lucky enough to find a G2 in the wild I would love to add her to my collection as well!

I don't think I could really pick a favorite pony, but I like a lot of the ones with nautical or space/star themes, and G1 boy ponies!! (big cute hooves
