Pony Brag Arena / Thrift Store Haul Video! :D

It's been awhile since I've checked in here. But a recent thrift store haul has revived my MLP passion again. Things in the model horse world have been getting too dramatic and I needed something fun and cheery to get me through. So here's a quick little video I did showing my haul and their makeovers

Can anyone use any of these?I was going through and condensing my body box and before I removed these from their boxes and chuck them back in the bin, I was curious if anyone needed these? whether it be for customizing or collecting. I just know I'm never going to have the time for them.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I've been in here...what have I missed?
It's just been crazy busy around here with life and regular model horse commissions and sales pieces so I haven't really had to chance to pony around with the vinyls in awhile.

BUT I just wanted to pop in and show a really quick custom I did for my mom for mothers day this year. It was done on a MLP fakie. I sculpted the mane & tail and painted using acrylics, some glitter and embellished with a little rhinestone

He's a little messy because I only had a day to pull it off but I'm oober happy with him

Customs / Oh NO! Please Help :( Crazing finish?

I just noticed today that in some areas it looks like the finish is crazing/separating? And where this is happening, the area around it is shiny. It's not sticky at all..it just looks like i glossed those areas and the gloss is crazing/cracking/coming apart or something. Feels smooth to the touch though...

maybe a layer of sealer underneith somewhere wasn't fully cured before i continued and that layer is coming through now?

the crackling look is mostly happening on the non-display side in these two areas only but it's starting to get a little "glossy" in some other areas on the front too.

Is this fixable? Would i be able to touch this up and re-seal? Maybe use dullcote this time? I have been using Krylon Matte finish without problem... I dont know...what's happening..please help!!

I spent so much work and time on this little one to have this happen I'm really hoping someone can help me fix this.

Off Topic / Trolls??

So, I'm doing some spring cleaning and came across all my old trolls of all sizes. Mostly Russ (maybe a Dam or two in there). Anyway...they're in REALLY played with shape (dirty clothes, marks, dead batteries, and they smell like old troll lol - theyve been stowed away in a tote for a long time) Anyway, is there a market for these? Maybe even as custom bait? I've seen a few custom trolls on eBay so can i list a lot with hopes of some income? It's just too much work right now to clean all of these up (not to mention I'm not even sure how to go about cleaning them in the first place) and even if i did clean them up i would probably just save them for my niece to play with when she's old enough.

Anyway, So I guess my main questions are:
1)would i be better off selling them in a lot as custom bait?
2)individually in their very played with condition?
3)anyone know of any troll specific forums or sites I can check with?
4) Customize & sell them myself?
5) Anyone looking for some trolls?

AAHH!!! I was just about to relist Epona when i noticed OMG!

I forgot to paint her face marking!!! I cant believe I didn't notice that all this time! DARN! Grr! ....so i guess there's still more work to be done before she can be sold...sigh

Ok everyone, she's ready! She's up for sale on eBay now. It's only for 3 days since I'm going away in a couple of weeks and wanted to make sure I'd have enough time to receive payment and get it shipped before I go.

(I can't do international this first time around since i dont have the time to figure it all out before I leave. But if she's still available after a few passes, I will make the acception for arena members and clear your specific ebayID for bidding).

Woooo!!!! I've finally finished her! I'm SO happy with how she came out and want to take everyone for your support! I hope you like her! Just have to seal her up and finish up some touches on the base and she will be up for sale! Thanks again! Stay tuned for her sales photos

More progress today! Woo Hoo! Sorry for the wonky angle of the photo I was trying not to bang the table because I still need to re-attach the head and it was sort of just balanced there....just waiting for the mane to cure before doing so

More progress on this little one! It's been a crazy last few months and not much time to put towards my horses but I did get a couple of hours and made a little more progress.

So far, pony has been repositioned, basic base constructed and primed, Tail sculpted, 3 hoof feathers have been sculpted, and mane has been started. She's gettin' close!!
