Pony Corral / Animation question

So Toei animation was the studio that animated Rescue At Midnight Castle aka the pilot of the series. It's very obviously anime inspired with the style. But then the rest of the series and the movie have a different style that's lower quality. It's animated by the same studio. I know that the movie was animated in 6 weeks and was rushed so that makes sense. But is it the same problem with the sequel series? AKOM was also involved too but I don't know how much they did. So, what's the deal? Did they not have the same budget? Did the director(s) want them to make the style look more western if I'm saying that right. I've tried Googling why but I can't find a definite answer.

Pony Corral / Restoration problem: Off white head, white body

I still hate that my G1 Majesty still faded back to really off-white even after two sun exposures. However, it's been a few years since I've done anything about it. I initially thought the sun exposure trick was permanent but after my experience, it really isn't. It's temporary at best. And I haven't heard of another method to try...

Do you see what I mean? It's her poor head 😭 none of my other white mlps have this problem

And then the weird yellow spots on her legs? But that's a whole other problem.

Hello everyone, I'm can-of-pringles (Pringles for short) and I used to collect G1s but that interest was pushed to the side for a while but I'd like to get back into it! I grew up with G4 mainly but I do have a fondness for G1. I also collected Breyer model horses for a while too but like ponies, it's been out of focus for now. My most recent hobby has been collecting Build A Bears.

I used to be on this site many many years ago. It's good to be back
