The Dollhouse / Sailor Moon Adventure Dolls, how much are they worth?
« on: March 24, 2012, 03:26:52 AM »
My friend's been cleaning out her old toys and stuff, and she has uncovered some old Sailor Moon dolls. She checked them on eBay and saw some selling for quite a lot but I offered to ask on here for her to try and find out what they're really worth.

The dolls she has are called Sailor Moon Adventure Dolls and look like this (to the best of my recollection, I can ask her to take a pic if you'd like)

(not my pic)

She has Queen Beryl, Sailor Mercury and Sailor Moon, I'm pretty sure they're unopened, they were in their boxes when I saw them, and look to be in good condition.

So does anyone know how much they're worth?

Pony Brag Arena / Excellent Thrift Store Find!
« on: March 17, 2012, 01:18:17 AM »
I was at Savers (a massive, massive thrift store) on Tuesday and I decided to check out the toy section for any ponies as I'd seen a couple of Ponyvilles last time. I was checking out the bags of toys and found a bag with four G3s and two McDonald's G3.5s in it.
I excitedly picked up the bag and then looked over at the bag that was next to it to see two G1 ponies; Bow Tie and Skydancer. This amazed me as I've never ever found G1s in a thrift store (I barely find any ponies in thrift stores).

I got both of the bags, for $4 each which I was very happy to pay. The only downside is that all of the G3s have hair cuts (not mohawks yet though :P ) and I already had Bow Tie but my sister wanted her so she's happy now :D

Now the ponies just need cleaning, and I need to find somewhere to put them

Off Topic / Rat Owners/experts, advice needed.
« on: January 31, 2012, 01:10:43 AM »
I think my rat may have a tumour.

She is almost 2 years old and a while ago I noticed that she seemed to have some sort of lump next to her rear right leg, I was sort of in denial though and thought that it was just her getting fat or something but I washed her today and when her fur was less in the way it looks very pronounced and unnatural.

I looked it up online and it looks like she has a mammary tumour like the one in the second photo on this page (the white rat). I will find a vet to see if my suspicions are true, I hope it's not too bad :(

Has anyone here had any experience with this problem in their rats? I hear it's quite common with females, but luckily my other rat has no odd lumps.

Also, does anyone know how much it will cost if it is a tumour that needs to be removed? I really love her and want to do the best for her, but I don't know how much we can afford :/

Pony Corral / Fun at the Fair and Camping Trip sets in Singapore!
« on: January 27, 2012, 04:12:45 AM »
So I recently came back from Singapore after a ten day trip for a school event (Fluttershy yay!) and whilst at the Changi Airport waiting for my flight back home I decided to check out a toy store in the airport.

The store had a limited supply of ponies but they did have the Fun at the Fair (Apple Bloom and Sweetie Belle) and Camping Trip (Rainbow Dash) sets for $23.27.

Sadly I only had about $12 Singapore dollars left and they wouldn't fit in my carry-on luggage but they were there, so they may spread around soon enough (I didn't check any other toy stores in Singapore so they may have already) :D
