I was looking for a way to remove highlighter stains from plastic without sunfading and I stumbled upon an interesting way to remove Sharpie instead. Apparently, no matter how old the Sharpie mark is, you can rub an Expo dry erase marker over it and then just wipe both marks off together. There's an eHow and a YouTube video of this method. I'll post the links in the morning (not using computer at the moment). Has anyone ever tried this? Oh, and I still haven't found a way to remove highlighter without sunfading.

I've seen little keychains and necklace charms made from bling bag ponies, and my friends all want their first blind bags to be made into keychains, but I don't know where to start. Any help, please?

I want to buy or trade for Abbey's and Ghoulia's original outfits from their first releases (the everyday outfits seen in the webisodes). I can trade Abbey's Skull Shores outfit and Ghoulia's Dead Tired outfit (both with accessories), or I can make a custom pony of any generation to trade you (I'm not very good at sculpting though; even my unicorn horns are crooked). If money is desired, I don't want to spend too much, but we can try to make a deal. Thanks for any help. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) And sorry if all the parentheses annoy you.

1. Are certain ponies more susceptible to cancer than others? I've seen it on a lot of Big Brothers (especially Barnicle), but I've seen plenty of earlier ponies (Minty, Applejack, etc.) that had nothing.
2. Are there any examples of non-G1 ponies having cancer?
3. This is more of a think-about-it, it's-your-opinion question: do you think that the change in plastic in non-G1 ponies will protect ponies from cancer (either forever or temporarily)? Remember the G1s have perhaps the softest plastic, and all generations after are considerably harder.
Thank you for your answers!

So with graduation coming up and lots of family and friends coming down, I decided to make some custom ponies for them. The first is an Egyptian custom, for my step-mother. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginThe second is a Native American custom, for a family-friend. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd finally, a floral custom, for my grandmother on my father's side. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginI did some other ones for my mom, grandma, great-grandma, and aunt, but they've put them away, and they weren't my best anyway. All I'll say about them is that each one represented a different suit from a standard card deck.

Okay, first, a couple of weeks ago, I went to the mall with my friends and discovered that they put in a Toys R Us Express completely under the radar. And there I found two special ponies I had been searching for for about five months: Apparently in my city, these two are exclusive to this store. I was so lucky to finally add them to my collection. I got two Cherry Pies, one for my MIB G4 collection and one for customs. Then, my friend called me over this past weekend saying that she found some ponies when cleaning out her closet. They weren't MLP, but some really cute fakies: Two days or so after that, my grandpa took me to the thrift store, where I found one bag full of MLP and fakies, and another pony in a different bag. He bought both for me. ![Smile :)](https://mlparena.com/Smileys/default/smile_001.gif) The single pony in the separate bag was a baity Hidden Treasure that I am in the process of customizing now. And finally, I received my first of two G2 grails yesterday: Spoiler visitors can't see pics , please register or loginMiss Painter! So yes, I'm swimming in ponies right now. I'm looking to buy cheap bait ponies from all gens except 3.5. I would like for them not to have any bite marks or chews/holes in the plastic, as I'm not good at sculpting. Anything else is fine though!
Edit: Okay, so this topic can die now. I just found out that I don't have as much as I thought, and I have to make thank-you gifts for friends, so I can't buy right now. Thank you, and I'm sorry to have wasted your time and space on the boards.

So now that the 30-day challenge is over, I'm going through some G2 fever and am looking to buy some that weren't sold in America. My two biggest G2 grails are Wednesday Afternoon Bride and Miss Painter. I'd like to get them in as good of condition as possible, but with them being so rare lately, I'll take what I can get! My entire G2 wishlist is in my siggy. My funds aren't huge right now (about $200), but post away and we can try to arrange something. Thank you!

I'll usually leave the tinsel in if I feel it matches the hair appropriately, but with July Jubilee, it didn't do so very much. They had access to red tinsel, so I don't know why they didn't use it. Anyway, here she is detinselled: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginShe still has a couple of short, stray strands. Since this was my first time trying this, I probably didn't do it the right way. And tips on how to get rid of the smaller bits, or how to detinsel in the future? Oh, and yes, I know detinselling reduces the value of the pony, but I don't plan on selling her, so it's okay.

I don't know what it is with this pony's hair; it gets super dry and frizzy very easily. I've even seen others with this problem. Will somebody tell me what colors she has, or direct me to a color matching site for G3s?

visitors can't see pics , please register or loginLulz. My Mom likes to paint bird houses; I went one day to Michaels to buy some tiny boxes and found the castle bird house (along with tons of other awesome new ones!) and immediately thought, "Haven for blind bag ponies!" But instead, I got it for Mom, and I told her that if she doesn't paint it, I'm taking it off her hands. I even put the pony on it and showed her, and she thought it was adorable.

Some of you may remember my post about buying my first G1 in the Pony Corral where I said I bought a baity Bow Tie and planned to restore her. Well, I've done it finally. Before:

As you can see, major eye rub; some marks; tail rust; and dirty, mangled hair.
After:

But oh dear God, the symbols! They look awful! I tried so hard to preserve the originals but the acetone got them anyway and I had to repaint them, and they look simply horrid! Someone, please give me advice on how to fix them, even if the advice is to just take them off and make her an eternal blank flank!

Like you know the pony's name but you have to stop and think before you speak or you'll say the wrong thing? I have trouble remembering the name of G4 Plumsweet. I always call her Sugarplum and then have to correct myself.
