I didn't notice that a stray early morning sunbeam was falling on my Seaside Baby until it was too late. Part of her color changing streak was exposed to bright light, and now it's not changing back.  I stuck her in a dark closet for a week, but it didn't work. Any suggestions? Would sticking her in the refrigerator help?

Some members have said recently that they're in a nirvana dry spell, but I'm standing in a deluge right now. My wallet is screaming at me that I'm hurting it. I keep telling it to be quiet because I've gotten really good deals on the ones I've bought, but it's not listening to me. Maybe it will believe you guys instead. So how'd I do? As soon as I did, I began to doubt that it was a good idea because I thought there might be hidden flaws. The description says that she MAY have a small haircut (I hate vague descriptions like that). But she's already arrived, and she's lovely. Definitely no haircuts; her forelock is a bit shorter than those of regular releases, but that seems normal for Brazil ponies. She has light frizz, but again that's almost unavoidable with Brazils. Tail looks original. No stains anywhere. No rubs to eyes or symbols, just a small rub to her NDS blush. So she looks gorgeous, and I think I got a bargain. She hasn't arrived yet, but she seems like she'll be in great condition too. I only have a few Greeks and don't know much about pricing them, but I would have thought that she'd be worth more than $160. (I know Grk Baby Cotton Candy and maybe Blossom too are easier to find, but I though Baby Firefly was rarer.) Also, can anyone tell me if the Greek babies had specific accessories that came with each one? Or were there color variations so that the same baby could come with different colored ID necklaces and bottles and stuff? I have some Grk baby accessories that my new Firefly and also my CC will have to share between them. I would like to get each baby's correct accessories eventually, but if they were randomly matched with accessories anyway, then maybe I won't worry about it. (I have 2 pinkish purple Grk ID necklaces and 3 bottles with tealish blue tops, and also a white rocking crib and a white playpen with blue bottom, and a blanket and pillow for each.)

So I may be taking the plunge and getting my first Venezuela pony. But with all the horror stories of ponies lost by the post office and mangled by customs officials, naturally I'm worried about receiving a damaged pony (or never getting one at all).
So what lessons have we learned about importing ponies from Venezuela? What's the best and safest way to do it?

Went to some garage sales today. Didn't find any ponies, but I did get something pony-related that's probably even better.
Now what could possibly be better than finding ponies?
How about glass-fronted display cabinets to house the ponies I already have? 4 of them! In great condition for $25 each!
Really, I probably needed these more than new ponies anyway.

Edit: Scroll down to page 2 for an update; I'm really ticked off now!  I've been keeping an eye out for a NM Galaxy upgrade for a while now. So when I saw a $5 BIN one in great shape with original curl and backcard, I snatched her up happily. But the seller emailed me this morning to regretfully report that her dog grabbed Galaxy while she was preparing the pony for shipment. And unfortunately Galaxy is no longer NM. *sigh* Oh, well, these things happen, right? Another nice one will come along. OK, I feel better now; thanks for letting me gripe. We were working on a big sale, then we both got busy with finals and just didn't have time to complete it. I'd like to still buy the items from her, but she hasn't logged into the Arena in about a month now. I know the Hasbro Softies plush ponies had paper tags with the MLP logo and I think a pic and description of the pony too, but what about the Applause versions? Did these have paper tags too? (I know the Applause ones did have blue Applause logo ear tags.)
How about brushes? I guess the Applause plushes had their brushes hanging around their necks on cords. Did the Hasbro Softies plushes have brushes included the same way? (I think I remember reading somewhere that the Softies ones just had their brushes attached to their bodies with a little plastic thingy, but I don't know if that was true.)
I'd love to see pics of NM plushes with original tags and brushes if anyone has some to share. Thanks!

There's a nice Rapunzel on Ebay now (can't link the auction per Arena rules), but her color looks a bit off to me. The pink looks a bit dark, and her eyes look pale pink/purple instead of blue. Is it just me, or is her color a bit off? Or are there variations that I don't know about? Or is it just the camera?
