Not only is today Easter but today is also six years since I met the man who would be my husband. We both went to a furry meet at Newport on the Levee and were introduced by a mutual friend in front of the big swordfish statue in front of a seafood restaurant there. He saw that I had my sketchbook out and loved my drawings and wanted to see more so we walked over to a nearby bench so I could show him more. As the day wore on, we didn't exactly stay by each others' sides, but he came to keep me company outside the Cold Stone where I was standing by myself while everyone else got ice cream.  After that I believed we hung out together a bit more and not long after that is when we discovered how close we lived to each other. He even worked five minutes away from where I lived which was just awesome because both of us were incredibly lonely in the area and my local friend up to that point was moving very soon. When it was time to go home, I had a choice to go with him and a few other guys to see V for Vendetta or have my friend Jouster take me home. I chose the later cuz I wasn't sure I wanted to see V. I remember us looking back at each other as we went our separate ways though. That night, I was chatting with the friend who had introduced us that day and thanks to him, I was able to get my husband's AIM screenname since I had completely forgotten to exchange any sort of contact info with him that day. So we chatted awhile and that turned into talking on the phone well into the wee hours of the morning. I was with someone else still at the time so I thought I had just found a wonderful new friend to hang out with. I had no idea I'd be married to this man six years later and I am so very glad I am.

The lineart for this was drawn months ago, possibly while it was still 2011. Finally finished it last night/today. This is my main persona, Koudoawaia, as a G4 pegasus^^ Her mark is a black heart with a wedding ring encircling it because as a dragon, the black heart is on each shoulder and she's married.

Cavy is not my main persona, just a lesser one I use for the pony fandom. My actual persona is a storm dragoness named Koudoawaia who has fox-like markings due to her origins as a kitsune and a black heart on each shoulder. Here is a pic of her:

My husband and I just got done watching all of American Dragon Jake Long on youtube last night. Traitorous Counsellor Chang's dragon form is so awesome looking in season 2 that I just had to draw her.

Recently became a big fan of Posey when I watched Fugitive Flowers on youtube last week and noticed how similar she and Fluttershy are then found out that Fluttershy was going to be her in FiM at first. So here's a sketch of her taking time to smell the flowers she loves so much.

Been in an art block for too long. Feels good to get back into it again.

First off I love my cat to pieces but I have a special bond with guinea pigs and they will always be a part of me. That said:

Last night I dreamed I got a new guinea pig. She was a big fluffy one old enough to be the perfect size to cuddle. At first I named her Coco due to her brown markings but they were lovely shades that went from a regular brown to reddish brown to cream or white so I ended up naming her Otter instead. My last two guinea pigs in real life were named after animals also. Guess it's getting to be a tradition. Anyway, she was such a sweet little thing. She kept chirping quietly and nibbling my fingers. There was one scene were I was letting her run around loose in a bedroom and she kept bumping her nose against the bottom of the bed frustrated because this was a type of bed she couldn't run under. She was happy as all get out when I put her on the bed and she could burrow into the blankets though and at one point flattened herself out for a good nap. She also flattened herself out on me at one point. It's flattering if a guinea pig flattens itself out on you because that means it really trusts you. It was a really good dream and while she doesn't really exist. I felt like Otter and I quickly formed a good bond like guinea pigs and I normally do.

Have you had any dreams about having pets that you don't have in real life?

Normally I'd save blind bag brags for the most recent pony purchases thread but...tonight was kinda special. Tonight I chose three blind bags. One was Rainbow Dash and the other two were...the special edition glittery Rainbow Dash and Twilight Sparkle that I've heard are so sought after. They're so sparkly and shiny in real life. I love them. My husband is letting me get a bunch of the blind bags for my Valentine's Day present. Hope my luck stays this good^^
