Found all of these yesterday for under $5.50, including the baby necklaces! I love finding accessories by accident. The ponies are mostly in nm condition, and Baby Moondancer and Glory are both upgrades for me, so only Baby Firefly is one I already have! I'm also really excited about Baby Blossom because I already have her bib. She's also much prettier than I expected! Bluebelle is FF, although I have a question...were they usually made with 2 heavy tail washers like that? My other FFs aren't here, so I can't check. The plaster pony is a fakie, but once I get the glitter off, I'm repainting it. There's also 6 more of those Strawberry Shortcake candles still there, but I'm just going to sell this one and don't know what it's worth yet. visitors can't see pics , please register or login

Yesterday, I was stuck waiting for a bus outside a thrift store I had just been to the day before, but decided to go take a look again since I had some time. And good thing I did because this is what I found: visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI've been collecting Care Bears for as long as MLP (although not as consistently or seriously), and I have never seen anything like this before! Those creepy black dots for eyes.... It's waxy, almost like a candle, hollow, and easily scratched, so aside from paint loss and a slight crack, I'm amazed it survived this long! The only information I could find is that Care Bears was one of the first licensed character products the car air freshener company Turtle Wax ever produced. Anyone ever seen these before or have any idea what it might be worth (I'm not planning on selling, just curious)? I assume each of the original characters was made, but I can't find any pictures.

It appears to be hand-painted, but it looks like it was made that way, not painted by a previous owner because the paint doesn't come off. Any one know about this (were there more?) or have an idea of what it might be worth?

Sorry, I can't take a picture for the time being, but I bought a Twilight Sparkle at a thrift store yesterday and noticed something odd about her hair...it's cut to give her a forelock, but it's not rooted horizontally like the other G4s I have with forelocks. It actually looks really nice.
It's basically just part of her mane brushed forward and cut, but it looks factory; her bangs lie nice and flat, and her hair looks like she came straight out of the package and was never played with. I didn't even need to brush it when I got home. I suppose someone could have cut and styled it, but I wouldn't have expected someone who cared about a show-accurate hair style to have gotten rid of it so soon.
Anyone else have one like this? Did I miss a line of the toys with hair like this? Was there maybe some kind of "transitional" G4s made when they switching away from bangs? Or do you think I just got lucky and some collector before me did the work? If it matters, her cutie mark is on her left side.

For G3s that is...I have a bunch I want to sell, and it would make things easier if I could rely on that, but I'm concerned the values seem a little high since I've had trouble selling G3s before.

I just got my 4th or 5th Moondancer this week and noticed that she has dark blue eyes rather than purple, and she's lacking blush. The blue seems too dark to just be faded and she's otherwise exactly the same as my other Moondancer I had access to at the moment, hoof stamps and all (83, Hasbro, Pat Pend, Hong Kong). I don't really collect G4 because I don't need to spend the money right now, but I was at a local grocery store and found one Rainbow Dash and one Applejack both with bangs/fringe, which I know isn't being made any more. The were 5.99 each; I didn't really look to see who else was there, besides Rarity and a bunch of G3.5.
Should I have bought them? Do people want them? Going back to the store might be a bit of a pain since it's one that's farther away, and I don't have a car, but if someone really wants them, I might be able to get a ride out there again... Or if anyone else is in this area and wants them, I can tell you where exactly they were.

It's for a fanfic a friend wrote that combines Rescue from Midnight Castle with FiM, and it's really well done and does justice to both FiM and the original cartoon I think, especially considering he wrote the story only shortly after discovering MLP. (It's unfortunately not finished yet, but still, it's good). I may eventually color this, but probably not any time soon.

Have second hand G4s (other than McDonald's toys) begun turning up anywhere else? This week I found a talking Princess Celestia in perfect condition in a nearby Value Village. Not yet sure if this is the beginning of a trend or just one person who was already tired of it, but I'm certainly not complaining. Anyone else have any luck yet? Thrift store shoppers might want to keep their eyes open for them.
